25.01.2022 If you are looking for an easy to use Christmas stamp set, you can't go past Joyful Holly. It is a two step stamp set which is very easy to line up and even looks great if you go out of the lines. You can use just the outlines, leaving them blank or colouring them in. You can use the solid image on its own to have falling holly leaves. For such simple imagery it is very versatile. Please visit my blog at www.catherinestanding.wordpress.com to see the full blog post and produc...t details. Cheers, Catherine.
20.01.2022 When you are trying out new techniques it can take a few goes and you can end up with bits and pieces that did not make it into your project. Don't throw them away, you can use them in other projects. That was the case with the background on this card. It was an earlier try of the background that appeared on the card I blogged about last Friday. Although I liked this background panel I accidentally dropped it onto an ink pad which meant I could not use it for last week's card.... However, with a large sentiment and butterfly, you will never know where the 'spilt' ink is! Please visit my blog at www.catherinestanding.wordpress.com to see the full blog post and product details. Cheers, Catherine.
19.01.2022 Registration is now open for the October Online Card Club. We will be making six beautiful Christmas cards featuring the Poinsettia Petals Bundle. There are a lot of pieces within both the stamp set and the dies and although it looks like it could be difficult to use, it really is not. It does take a bit of time, but the effort is worth it as the 3D flowers look so beautiful when done. If you don’t have a die cutting machine, that is okay. All the images used on the card desi...gns can easily be cut out by hand. The exclusive Stampin’ Up! product you will receive in this pack is half a packet Poinsettia Place designer series paper, 12 x 6, and a packet of Beaded Pearls. If you would like to join in the October Online Card Club, let me know which option you would like to purchase - all the details are on my website at https://catherinestanding.wordpress.com/get-involved/. I will then send an invoice to you. The deadline to make your payment is Saturday, 17 October 2020. Let me know today if you would like to join in the fun that is October 2020 Online Card Club. Cheers, Catherine
17.01.2022 I have combined the super fun Warm & Toasty stamp set with a sentiment from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set. Although a stamp set is often designed to have complimentary sentiments, images and styles, it does not mean that you are restricted to only using stamps within a single set. Please visit my blog at www.catherinestanding.wordpress.com to see the full blog post and product details. Cheers,... Catherine. See more

15.01.2022 Choosing colours for your paper craft projects is easy when you use Stampin' Up! products. Their colour coordination and dye matching is second to none. For example, with this card, I started with a piece of designer series paper and then just made sure that I used the colours in the paper for the other elements. 14.01.2022 I don't do a lot of white on white cards, but they do look pretty elegant don't you think? This design maximises the white cardstock for a very clean look. It also helps the pretty ink colours to stand out. All the images on this card come from the Lovely You stamp set. 12.01.2022 I have used the beautiful copper foil card stock to make a frame for my image today. It was made with two stitched rectangle dies and leaves me with the centre panel to use on another card. The reflection on the copper foil is amazing, but it did make it hard to take a photo without you seeing me in it! Please visit my blog at www.catherinestanding.wordpress.com to see the full blog post and product details. Cheers,... Catherine. See more

10.01.2022 The Lovely You stamp set is a combination of lovely mixed font sentiments and small accent images. This makes it a lot of fun to build what you want to express on your card. 08.01.2022 I saw this fun latch idea on a Facebook group and I wish I had noted who the demonstrator was so I could tell you who the clever person was that came up with this idea. If I do find out, I will edit this post. It was such a clever idea that I immediately wanted to give it a go and was inspired to make this card. 01.01.2022 For my next celebration of Spring card I have gone all out with daisies! There is something fresh and open about the daisy that makes them so pretty. I have used the Daisy punch to make the 3D daisy on front. One set of petals is punched from yellow cardstock, the other set is stamped in yellow ink on white cardstock and then punched out. This gives some fun variation when layered together to make the flower. Please visit my blog at www.catherinestanding.wordpress.com to see ...the full blog post and product details. Cheers, Catherine.
