24.01.2022 To all players and families. Please note that games tomorrow have been cancelled given the emerging COVID-19 situation locally. Please keep us updated if you are impacted in any way by isolation orders or waiting to be cleared. We will make a call about training by Tuesday evening.

23.01.2022 MEMBER ALERT ABOUT REFUNDS Refunds have now come through and are available! An email has been sent to anyone that chose to withdraw their 2020 registration, it outlines information & instructions for receiving your refund. If you haven't received an email but believe you are entitled to a refund please let us know by sending an email to [email protected] - don't forget to include player's details.

23.01.2022 Due to the rain, netball training is cancelled today for all teams and the courts are closed. Stay dry and we will see you on Saturday.

15.01.2022 Well the longest short season is coming to an end this week. It will be our final training session tonight and the final game on Saturday. We cannot have a presentation due to Covid-19 restrictions, but all players will receive a memento for the 2020 season tonight at training, so make sure you are there. Thank you to all of our players, coaches and supporters for your patience, good humour and resilience and enjoy your final week.

11.01.2022 Cardiff netball club sends our condolences to the Barrett family and everyone who knew this amazing lady. Marie had family members who played at Cardiff over the years and would often be found watching or supporting a Cardiff team. She was always good for a chat about netball and about life. She has been an important part of netball in Newcastle and we remember her great service to our community. RIP.

09.01.2022 Well that’s a wrap on training for 2020 . Thank you to all of the players, coaches and supporters who adjusted so well to our Covid safety requirements - you were all super stars. A special thank you to our hard working committee who went above and beyond to get us back on the training courts - especially these four who led our Covid safety response. Have a great final game on Saturday everyone...and we will see you in just over 3 months for 2021 registrations .

08.01.2022 Hi team ‘Diff, It looks like it is going to be a nice sunny day for netball tomorrow . But Newcastle have asked us to remind all our players and supporters that we must be vigilant with the COVID safety plan. As a reminder, key points below: Members and spectators MUST:... - ARRIVE no more than 15 minutes before start of game, PLAY then LEAVE - players and spectators can not stay to watch the next game, or stay to watch multiple games. Please also wait until participants from the previous timeslot have left the courts prior to entry, to reduce any crossover of different groups of people. - Know the relevant ENTRY and EXIT points - this is a safety issue, to reduce any crossover of differnet groups of people. - Everyone on the sideline needs a lanyard - the lanyards are all issued now and this will be enforced: 1 spectator per player located in the respective spectator zone. If there are 9 players in the team on any day, there can only be 9 spectators in the designated area. - Know your team bench and spectator area for each court - and stay in that area. ALL PARTICIPANTS, be it members, or spectators with lanyards, are not to be roaming around the precincts or playing on vacant courts. See you there tomorrow!

08.01.2022 Our club AGM was held last night, with the 2020 committee retained with the addition of a new member Belinda Howard - welcome Belinda! At the meeting we also acknowledged our Treasurer, Alan Spicer, who racked up 10 years of consecutive service on our committee in 2020. Alan gets a special thank you because he stepped in 10 years ago when we really needed a Treasurer and has continued to lend us his accountancy and BBQing skills ever since. He is a credit to our community and we are lucky to have him. Thanks Alan

06.01.2022 We hope all of our members had a restful Christmas and that you are almost ready to get back into netball again. Attached is information about 2021 Registrations & Uniforms that was emailed to all current members last night. Registration links will be forwarded before registration opens on 2/01/2021. We need to have teams put together earlier this year than usual, so the sooner you can register the better. Please note that Newcastle are looking at splitting the games so tha...t Net Set Go, U7s & U8s play on a Friday and the rest of the ages on a Saturday. This will depend on the current COVID restrictions in place. We will keep you up to date as we receive any further information. At this stage training for all teams will remain on a Wednesday at Cardiff NC Courts. If you have any questions or need further information please get in contact via [email protected].
