25.01.2022 Last cane fire of the season on the farm!
22.01.2022 The arrival of the llama’s dinner by boat, the flood version of Uber Eats. Alpaca your food to go!
19.01.2022 As most of you will know, the roads have completely changed here, and your GPS will be worse than useless if you try to find us. When you book with us we’ll send you this map and information, but I’ll just put it here as well just in case! Just a quick reminder that we’re a working property so we’re often not at the front of the farm, please call us on 0401861725 to book a tour Directions: If you are coming from the north, please use the southbound exit lane from the M1 as ...shown on the map. If you are coming from the south, you will need to exit the M1 at the Yamba interchange and then follow the signs for Harwood (Ballina), which will take you across the old bridge. Once you are on Harwood Island, turn right at the sign for the Sugar Refinery, as shown on the map. See more
19.01.2022 When you’re only little and very tired, so you have a nap on Mum’s shoulder

16.01.2022 For Ginger Cat Appreciation Day I’d like to share our four ginger farm cats, hard at work testing fleece, driving tractors and handling tools. I’m sure they think they’re underpaid for all the work they do!
15.01.2022 Willie Nelson the llama looks absolutely appalled that his best alpaca friend is naked! What he doesn’t know is that his turn will come in November, then it’ll be Waylon’s turn to be shocked
11.01.2022 Bit of a difference after shearing!!
11.01.2022 Covid-19 FAQ!! Due to the huge volume of enquires the last few days I thought I might put up a few common questions and answers, especially as it’s holiday time! Any other questions or to book a tour, please call us on 0401861725. We’d love to see you! Q: Are you open? A: Yes! However you MUST book in advance, we don’t take walk-in visits.... Q: Can I book a party? A: Yes... however please be aware that we are operating within NSW Health guidelines, and so the number of people we can have here at any one time is very limited. We are happy to discuss those details with you! Q: Is there anything I can do so that more people can attend with my group? A: There is absolutely nothing you can say or do that will convince me to bend the rules, so please don’t ask. The safety of our guests is our number one priority. Q: Can I book for a group at Christmas? A: Yes! However, the group size must comply with the government guidelines on the day of attendance, not the day of booking, and we reserve the right to cancel all bookings if there is community transmission in the area. The Clarence Valley is a safe place so far, and we’d like to keep it that way Thank you to everyone who has booked so far, and for your patience with our restrictions on group numbers. Stay safe, stay vigilant, be kind, and have a wonderful holiday!
11.01.2022 Another fluffy face ready for a trim!
10.01.2022 Not a great day for our visitors today as lunch was rudely interrupted by a hail storm! Our visitors handled it with aplomb and the kids calmed Ginger Tom with lots of pats, but it’s not exactly the introduction to farm life we usually like to demonstrate Stay safe out there guys! Storm season has definitely arrived!
08.01.2022 After many years of alpaca shearing, on Friday we had a new experience, llama shearing! I’m not sure the boys were too impressed by their haircut, but they’ll definitely appreciate it once summer hits!
08.01.2022 Someone sent this to me today, it gave me a giggle! Meanwhile in America...
08.01.2022 There’s always one who won’t look at the camera!
07.01.2022 It’s been a hard day on the farm for Ginger Tom, he’s all tuckered out

06.01.2022 Due to an absolutely horrific forecast, we’ll be closing until at least April 2nd! Even our water-loving pacas are running for shelter! Take care out there!
06.01.2022 Spotto is a bit young to be eating the treats just yet, but she knows the adults love whatever is in the bucket

05.01.2022 We’re flooded at the moment, but the animals are all fine and on high ground! When we rowed out to bring them some extra food though we found a surprise... Meet River
03.01.2022 So far this year we’ve had thousands of pecans, hundreds of lemons, cherry guavas and gooseberries, and a few strawberries, mandarines, mangoes, apples and grapes growing around the farm. But now it’s time for my favourite crop, mulberries!! And there are hundreds of them on the tree this year!!
01.01.2022 Busy day today! The alpacas getting their annual haircut and pedicure!
