25.01.2022 *** REFUND REQUESTS *** Just a quick note that we cannot give an accurate estimate of when money will be refunded for those pulling out of this season. This is because we first need to receive the money back from the relevant parties (who are being inundated with these requests from other clubs as well) before when can then process the refund back to you. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

25.01.2022 I will continue to repost all updates as they are released. What we understand this to mean is we won’t be training or holding trial games until after the 14th April unless we get further updates saying otherwise. At this stage the season will be starting the first weekend in May.. we will let you know everything we know as we find out.

24.01.2022 Hello Tigers, Please note that for those that registered with us for the 2020 season this information does not carry over and you need to go online and register again for the 2021 season. Any questions about this please message the page.

22.01.2022 Given the current situation it is understandable that some players may want to pull out and de-register for the season. Can all those wanting or thinking about doing this please message this page so we can get the ball rolling on refunds and also have an idea of how our teams will look once the season does eventually start?

21.01.2022 *** REMINDER *** We are still looking for volunteers to commit to helping out the club on game days, this is essential if we are to return to football in 2020. Please contact us if you are able to assist in any way.

21.01.2022 Hello Tigers, It is with much regret to inform you that the committee has made the difficult decision to withdraw all teams (junior and senior) from the 2020 season. The safety and health of our players and parents is our number one priority and we do not feel confident that we have enough volunteers to be able to comply with the return to play requirements in order to guarantee this. We have already seen around 15 clubs in the area pull out being unable to cope with the scal...e of the requirements and we are no different. Other factors that have influenced this decision: * Concerns over make up of any competition (elite teams being place in same competition as lower grade sides) * Wash-outs and forfeits not being replayed with no reduction of fees, regardless of number of games ultimately played * No finals series For those that have paid their registration fees the options from here are: a) Credit towards registration for the 2021 season (excluding Active Kids Voucher) b) Full refund (excluding Active Kids Voucher) In order to keep financially secure we may hire out our grounds during the season, however it will be the hiring clubs responsibility to make sure they have the numbers and resources available to be compliant. Finally, CJFC has decided that with the winter season not going ahead we are going to look into hosting a summer comp for juniors and seniors (fees from winter comp will also be transferable to this) more details on this to come! We look forward to welcoming you all back in 2021 of course - bigger and better than ever! The Committee, Cardiff Junior Football Club

20.01.2022 All football participants must play a role if we are to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Here are some key guidelines to adhere to for all football activities, including training and matches. Full list of guidelines: http://bit.ly/3d2OCy8

17.01.2022 *** 2020 SEASON UPDATE *** Please see below updates from a meeting of the committee last night: * We are planning on going ahead with Junior football for the 2020 season, but a concrete decision is still to be made. We will need your help if we are to do this! Due to the COVID19 return to football policies our committee will not be able to run game days alone, so we can only do this with the help of our parents and coaches. If you are able to assist please let us know!... * All players not wanting to play this season can de-register if they wish to do so. We are happy to advise that we have the option available to transfer any registration money paid over to the 2021 season (minus the Active Kids Voucher if applicable). * However, it is unlikely that our Senior teams will be going going ahead this season. This is due to the fact that the NSW Government has still not cleared senior football to return to play and we believe a decision on this won’t be made until junior football has returned for a couple of weeks. To restrict travel the grading could also be done based on location, so could see A grade teams in the same comp as a K grade side which will not be fair to our teams. There is also the impact of not being able to warm up or stay around after games socially that has influenced this decision. We will be making a final decision on whether we proceed with the season or not on Wednesday based on your input, so please send through any feedback by Tuesday at the latest. If you need any further information please don’t hesitate to ask and we will answer as best as we can.

09.01.2022 *** SEASON UPDATE *** Hello Tigers, as you will no doubt be aware the NSW Government has lifted some of the COVID19 restrictions and clubs are now allowed to return to training. However, before we do this there are still more steps that we as a club need to take before giving the go ahead on this.
