23.01.2022 Marian Main A bit about myself..... I am a 53-year-old disabled woman from Cranbourne, I do several different types of art including Pour Painting and Resin for...mwork. I have struggled through the COVID 19 Pandemic with the way disabled, immunosuppressed and elderly people have been treated as "expendable" by the wider community. Unfortunately, my life has not changed very much with the restrictions in place as I stay home as much as possible during our regular Flu season which hasn't happened this year due to COVID 19. I am looking forward to coming out of restrictions so life may get easier again for everyone. See more

20.01.2022 Nell Mcgregor Within my 5 km lockdown inside Pakenham, I have no access to the bush. This painting shows where I’m heading for as soon as the lockdown lifts. Windows down, Frey air of the bush, and the beautiful towering mountain ash trees in the Dandenongs. Can’t wait!

19.01.2022 Valdr Using their art as an emotive outlet and a way to process their response to experiences. While this can be a time to reflect and focus on ourselves, it’s also a time of great isolation and hardship, and it is that which their art finds its theme.

19.01.2022 Jillian Ronald As the second corona wave crashed over us, social interaction and creativity was suppressed. Now as we move towards control of the virus we need ...to start thinking about what is possible rather than focus on what we cannot do, so I have developed a Maskcinator to replace Fascinators. A decorative headpiece to wear at special events. Made from aluminum flashing, it has a decorative accent that can be interchanged to coordinate with your outfit. Alflashcinator See more

18.01.2022 Jenni L. Ivins ‘A Mother’s Love’ I chose natural materials to respond to The Drover’s Wife, by Leah Purcell. In the book we read how a high country mother does what is necessary to protect her family in the late 1800s.

17.01.2022 Marian Main I'm not sure how I would have coped with a life-changing diagnosis without my arts to distract me from myself. Art had come to mean a lot to me as a... means of expression and to help me keep moving and to distract me from the pain I live with every day. I came across Pour Painting while looking online for something different to try. I love the flow of the work and that I have limited control over the finished artwork. I need to let the paint do what it wants, the cells to pop out where and when they want, it is a very freeing form of art. See more
