25.01.2022 As we are all aware, the State & Federal Governments have placed significant restrictions on the movement of people and the closure of many businesses. Cardinia... Beaconhills Golf Links takes this very seriously and ask you to note the following. The Golf Course is still open. The Wednesday twilight competition is cancelled for the rest of the year effective immediately. You are welcome for social play. All social distancing rules must be strictly adhered to. Deliberate acts in disregard of these rules will result in you being asked to leave the premises. There have been many changes to the course and facilities. o The club house is closed and we are currently seeking clarification if any take away food and beverage can be served o You are to arrive shortly before your tee time and leave immediately after your round. There is to be no socialising after your round. o The flags have been removed from all greens o Only 1 person is to be in a golf cart o Hire clubs are not available o The bunker rakes have been removed o Any ‘on course’ taps and ball washers cannot be used o The showers and toilets in the locker rooms cannot be used o No more than 4 people are to be on the practice putting green at 1 time. o ‘Paywave’ payments are our preferred option o Footgolf is only possible if people bring their own ball It should be noted that the Government is very clear in advising people to stay home. The community’s safety is our number 1 priority and the better we all adhere to the restrictions and rules, the better it will be for everybody. The Cardinia Beaconhills Golf Links Team

05.01.2022 We are very excited to be opening for golf again and will be open from tomorrow Wednesday 13 May. We would just like to clarify how we are responding to the r...estrictions put in place by the State and Federal Governments. You must book prior to coming to the golf course. This can be done online via https://www.beaconhillsgolf.com.au/cms/online-bookings/ or by phoning the pro shop on 5945 9230. If a person is feeling unwell no matter how mild the symptoms they must not attend the course. There can be no gatherings of 10 or more people. Therefore, if your group has a booking of more than 10 people you will need to organise them to arrive at the course in staggered times. We do not want people to come to the course or pro shop more than 15 minutes prior to their allocated tee time. You must leave the course as soon as your round is completed. The flag sticks must not be removed from the holes. There is foam placed in the holes to make the ball easier to retrieve. We are applying a rule that if the ball bounces back out of the hole it is counted as holed. There are no rakes in the bunkers. The R&A have allowed players to take a preferred lie in the bunker. We ask the players smooth the area with their foot. The water taps are not available for use. The ball washers are not available for use. We expect that all social distancing measures are adhered to at all times. There can be no more than 1 person in a cart. The only exception of this is if people reside together and drivers licence proof must be shown for this. There can only be 4 people on the practice putting green. Please carry hand sanitiser and use it regularly. We have implemented our ‘Winter Rules’ which means Preferred lies can be taken through the green. No carts are allowed on the fairways. 04.01.2022 Cardinia Beaconhills is open for business In light of the evolving challenges posed by COVID-19, our focus is more than ever on the health and safety of our com...munity. We’ve implemented several precautionary measures to ensure our members and visitors alike are in the safest possible environment while at Cardinia Beaconhills Golf Links. The course will remain open until directed to do otherwise by the Victorian or Federal Governments. All enclosed areas will be restricted to 100 people at any one time. We ask that anyone who is attending the club to ensure they haven't travelled internationally in the past 14 days and have not been in contact with anybody who has contracted Coronavirus. This is going to be a difficult time going forward and will likely have an impact on the health and financial situation of many within the Cardinia Beaconhills Community.
