15.01.2022 I stepped outside my comfort zone on Saturday. Josie Dean Independent Stampin' Up Demonstrator card making class had us make two beautiful greeting cards and then decorate a calendar using a photo we were asked to bring along. It took me a while to sort out colours and layout - I was trying to bring to life some ideas that were firing up in my mind. With suggestions from the group, I took my partial layout home and completed it the next day. ... This photo was taken on our trip to the Kimberley so I wanted to include Kimberley colours you just don't see everywhere. At this beach, I had collected a container full of these teeny-tiny shells, so I sprinkled on a few and then glued them on individually with PVA. When I look at this calendar, I want to be transported back to One Arm Point on Cape Leveque, W.A. For me at least, this layout does this
