24.01.2022 Happy Film Friday A little video for you. The first half I am talking about the Slimline cards with a few ideas and tips. The second half I am explaining how to make envelopes that the cards fit into. Hope you like it. Warts and all. Lol. You can even see my speaker wire drifting around at times. Shoutout to Leonie who shared the envelope hack with me.... I am excited to be going to a watercolour class tomorrow. Can’t wait to slosh some paint around. Hope you are doing something fun too. Have a great weekend Vx See more

24.01.2022 Happy Monday Week two of my Two Week Challenge to finish some Unfinished Projects. And there are soooooo many!! I found these two pretty watercolour backgrounds in my pile. Look how easy it was to just add a few pieces of stamped and die cut images. (Also lying unused in my stash!) These turned out very pretty I think.... Have a great day. Vx See more

20.01.2022 Happy Wednesday Just to be confusing...I am posting this late Tuesday night But it is Wednesday’s post .. just a tad early So On with the post ... Who knew how addictive these Slimline cards could be... I couldn’t resist making another one. Using the reindeer from Warm and Toasty. I coloured him in soft blues and greens to match in with the beautiful Snowflake Splendour designer paper. All I have to do now is decide on the greeting for the front and I will be finished. Let’s see how long that will take me. Lol See more

19.01.2022 Happy Tuesday Busy designing at the craft table at the moment. Trying a Double Fan Fold card. As usual I look at a picture and then work out my own dimensions to suit. So there is always lots of rough drawings and number calculations on my scrap paper. This is a fairly easy design but sometimes they can be a real challenge. Good to keep the old brain working. And I do like puzzles. Let’s see what I come up with! And another quick ‘scrap’ card using left overs; while you are waiting. Have a great day. Vx

19.01.2022 Happy Friyay And the final cards for my two week challenge. I remember playing with the Waterfront stamp set and making these card fronts but not knowing what style of card to make with them I put them aside ... for later.... much much later...I have finally achieved a finished card with both of them ... and I am very happy...and pleased just to get them done! I can’t wait to get into some new stamping next week! I think the Christmas gnomes might need another outing. Have a great weekend. Vx

16.01.2022 Happy Tuesday Today I found these two stamped card fronts that just needed a greeting and layering onto card stock. 12.01.2022 Happy Friday A lot of people have told me they find Trimming the Town designer paper not ‘Christmassy’ or they don’t like all the patterns. But I am going to change your mind! This paper has plenty of traditional patterns and colours as well as fun images on the other side that are super easy to cut out. Including two whole sheets of Christmas Greetings. So you could make cards without using a single stamp. I have some fun cards to show you next week with this designer pa...per.stay tuned! Today I washed all of Rosies beds and bedding. Interesting that her bed that she has in the craft room had a diamanté, a sequin or two, tiny scraps of patterned paper and a dimensionalmaybe she is secretly making cards while sitting quietly in her bed?! Hmmmm Have a great weekend. Vx

Inside I used a new stamp set called Family Party. (Main catalogue) This stamp set is what I consider a staple for your collection. It looks a bit boring and uninteresting but it really covers so many greeting options. It is a Really Useful Stamp Set. 01.01.2022 Happy Wednesday And only a few days left of my two week challenge. Finishing unfinished projects. Today’s cards did take a little bit more time. I had the two scenes created with the Waterfront stamp set already created and cut in circles. I felt they deserved a bit extra with my card choices. So I made one into a Z-fold card and one into a Window card. Which one do you like the best? Calypso Coral OR Flirty Flamingo?... Have a great day. Vx See more
