25.01.2022 Pray with the Sudanese families of six missing children abducted during a recent attack on a church and village in South Sudan's eastern Jonglei state . The att...ack claimed the lives of 23 peoplemost were women and children. Majority-Christian Jonglei state has long been known for clashes between ethnic groups, but recently communal violence has increased with attackers carrying military-grade weapons. Pray with us for these children and families who have lost loved ones in these clashes. Pray for their safe return, for God to be with them every step.

23.01.2022 God’s Love Secures Us May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance (2 Thessalonians 3:5). How can God really love me? That questi...on has occurred to most of us. When we doubt His love it leads to frustrating attempts to do enough to change God’s mind so He can love us again. When we are working hard at earning God's love this prayer comes to our rescue. One of the blessings of serving the Lord is that He continually directs our hearts into God’s love. As difficult as it is to comprehend, God’s love for us is constant. He loved us while we were sinners and He loves us now. God's love for us isn't based on who we are or what we do; it’s His nature. The Bible tells us that God is love. It’s one thing to be loved, it’s another thing entirely to be able to comprehend it. Faith in Christ means that our hearts are able to receive God’s love. Consequently, we are enabled to persevere in any situation. Jesus knew that His Father loved Him. That helped Him overcome every difficulty He faced. The key to knowing how much we are loved by God is believing in Jesus. He is the One who can direct us into the inexhaustible love of God. When we know God loves us we, like Jesus, can endure anything.

23.01.2022 When Reuben Archer Torrey the great preacher came to Melbourne in 1902 thousands of people were in prayer groups all over the city. The crowds were so great tha...t the Exhibition building was packed day after day. Currently locked down tight by a dark situation it is time for us to arise in powerful United prayer not just for our freedom but for an unprecedented move of God’s Holy Spirit! See more

21.01.2022 In Tonga, 99 per cent of the people go to church and have a Christian faith. My family was like that. We always went to church." "In 1960, my grandfather gave ...the land for the church, right next door to our own house. He gave it for free. He wanted his children and grandchildren and great grandchildren to go to church. Everyone thanks my grandfather! "On Sundays in Tonga, you can always hear church bells ringing, everywhere, and lots of singing! Most churches have a choir and a mini brass band. We sing all the hymns and we have four services a day. But for me, I didn’t really understand what the Bible meant until I matured. Now I know for sure. "At the moment, it’s a very hard time. I’m here in Australia and I can’t get back to Tonga because of COVID. All the borders have closed. I was supposed to return in February. My wife is there and she has given birth to our first child, a son named Pepe. We asked God for a child for twelve years, and now we have Pepe, and I haven’t seen him yet. He’s five months old. I want to see my son! "Another hard thing is my work. I have a job in construction, here in Sydney, but my co-workers can be difficult. Sometimes I park my bike in the yard and they deflate the tyres, or they swear at me, or call me names. I try not to say anything. I try to smile at them. "Following in the footsteps of Christ can be very tough. But I say to myself that maybe if I don’t feel the tough-ness, I am not in Christ’s footsteps. I have gone off the track. Jesus said to show forgiveness. We have been forgiven by God so we choose to show love. It’s the fruit of the Spirit. Jesus said to 'Love your enemies, and to pray for those who persecute you.' (Matthew 5:44). So I keep praying, every morning, 'Lord, please bless my co-workers.' And I ask for the energy to keep on loving them. I trust God. I know that Jesus knows everything and he will help me. "Also, in my spare time, I sit outside with my books and my Bible readings. I pick up my ukulele. I’ve had it for two months, and I’m still learning. I can only play three chords. Sometimes, my house mate comes out and he brings his guitar and we sing together. He can only play two chords! "I also remember that God has a plan for us, for everyone. And if I try to see it on my own, I can’t. It’s God’s plan. So I must learn to trust. And when the borders open up, I will go back to Tonga and I will play with Pepe. My wife says that he looks like me. More Faith Stories @https://www.eternitynews.com.au/faith-stories/

21.01.2022 Did you know The song "It Is Well With My Soul" was written by a successful Christian lawyer Horatio Spafford. His only son died at age 4 in 1871. In 1872, th...e great Chicago fire wiped out his vast estate, made from a successful legal career. In 1873 he sent his wife & 4 daughters over to Europe on a summer trip on the ill fated SS Ville du Havre. Since he had a lot of work to do, he planned to follow them later. The Ship sank and he lost his 4 daughters with the wife being the only survivor. She sent him a famous telegram which simply read, "SAVED ALONE...." On his return home, his Law firm was burned down and the insurance company refused to pay him. They said "It's an Act of God". He had no money to pay for his house and no work, he also lost his house. Then while sitting and thinking what's happening to him, being a spiritual person, he wrote a song - "Whatever, my Lord, You have taught me to say - It is well, it is well with my soul". My dear friend, a good attitude will determine your altitude. When you look at your life, career, job or family life, what do you say? Do you praise God? Do you blame the devil? A good attitude towards God makes Him move on your behalf. Just sit down and say, "Today, God, it is well with my soul, I am thankful I had a peaceful sleep, I am thankful I am alive with possibilities, I am thankful I have a roof over me, I am thankful I have a job, I am thankful that I have Family and Friends. Above all, I am thankful that I have the Lord Jesus Christ on my side." Be blessed and don't be envious or shocked when others are prospering because you don't know what they have been through to get there (test, trials and tribulation) so thank God for what you have. "Little is much when God is in it. It Is Well With My Soul!" If God is for us, who can be against us? See more
