25.01.2022 Dear valued customers, Like most people around the world we have been monitoring the developments around COVID-19 coronavirus very closely. At The Beachcombers Restaurant we believe we all have a critical role to play in reducing the community impact of COVID-19 by encouraging and facilitating social distancing wherever possible. The welfare of our customers, staff and community is our top priority.... Accordingly, we have progressively introduced a number of measures across our venue that enable our staff and customers to practice social distance dinning and reduce the spread of the virus while still achieving our goals together. Above and beyond our usual cleanliness and hygiene standards, we will also abide by the Office of Liquor and Gaming regulations and adhere to Chief Health Officer Dr. Jeannette Young's direction. Understandably this is a difficult time for many food and beverage venues in Cardwell and we ask for community support and thankyou for you're understanding. 17.01.2022 Cardwell Beachcomber Motel & Tourist Park will maintain full-time operation during this period. We have taken steps to ensure the health and safety of our staff and guests, including all off-site face to face meetings and placing signage around our premises reminding people of the importance of social distancing and to be extra vigilant with hygiene habits. We have put extra steps in place to ensure our guests and staffs health and well-being. . We are continuing to monitor... government health reports Our Housekeeping team are following strict cleaning procedures to disinfect all areas every day. Although it is recommended that people don't travel unnecessarily there is always going to be people who will need to travel or who live on the road with no fixed address. So we want you to know WE ARE OPEN and you are more than welcome to stay with us in our motel and Cabins If you are travelling in a van why not park up here in beautiful Cardwell and ride out the storm, our sites are large and plenty so distance from each other will not be a problem. 13.01.2022 Happy Hour at the Beachcomber's will be making a come back tomorrow. However.. a few things you must know Happy hour from 4.30 - 5.30... As we would love to welcome back the happy hour we all know and love, we are still very much restricted to obide by health and safety laws. 20 people ONLY at any one time. You must be seated (no bar service) Which means kick back relax & we will come to you! Dinner service will be strictly limited to 6.00 pm 7.30 pm Bookings are essential. 12.01.2022 Its a beautiful day in Cardwell, if you are driving thru Coastal Queensland and want some where to stay " we are open". The restaurant is open for room service and take-away. We have found over the last week or so, that most people travelling are very cautious about where they are staying, we assure you that we have put into place very stringent cleaning practices as the health of our guests and staff are very important to us. We do not want to have to close so every precaution is being taken. Our park is large with plenty of room between sites so distance in the park is not a problem. We are offering a weekly rate in the park for those that need to stop and catch there breath.

06.01.2022 We are open for business very very soon. Recreational travel is permitted within a 250km radious. as of the 13th June So if you are in our region get those vans out and dust off the cobwebs. Get out of the house and check into our motel or a self contained cabin. We would really love to see you here in our lovely little town The restaurant is open for take-away as well as sit down for limited numbers.

05.01.2022 We are still open from 5pm - 8pm! Full menu and pizza's available. Come support our local buisness. GRAB some GRUB and eat by the foreshore!

05.01.2022 The park is now only open to people making there way home or people that have no fixed address and need to park up as they are now not allowed to travel. The motel is open for essential personnel only including people making there way home, people travel because of work and once again travelers with no fixed address. The Restaurant is still operating on a take-away, room service basis and will continue to do so unless the rules shift. Please be conscious of the hygiene rules and social distancing rules hopefully these new measures will help level out the virus so that the end of this situation will be closer rather than further.
