13.01.2022 Home isolation is a very necessary step in stopping the spread of both seasonal Influenza and COVID-19. The current recommendation by the Federal and State governments is if you are sick to isolate, stay at home and only go out when essential (like a doctors appointment). If you need groceries or other essentials, you can arrange for a friend or neighbour to get you what you need and drop them at your door with no contact between you. Currently, Cardwell has the seasonal Inf...luenza, so we ask that all Cardwell patients self-isolate until the symptoms are gone. These steps may seem drastic but they are necessary to keep the Influenza at bay and ensure that COVID-19 stays out of Cardwell for as long as possible. The Berrymans have permanently relocated to Cardwell from Melbourne and are looking forward to meeting all of you. 02.01.2022 As you all maybe hearing the national influenza immunisations are starting to be delivered to the practices ours included. Unfortunately until after the 14 th April 2020 the government decides how many we are allotted in the first 2 weeks unfortunately this is not as many as we would want but after the 14 th April we can order more. We ask that everyone be patient you will get a vaccination however we need to do our most vulnerable and volunteers who go into our most vulnerab...le for deliveries Starting this weekend we will be starting to immunise those most at risk and over 65 you will be contacted and advised of the times to come If you would like to register for us to contact you for the extra clinics you can Text 0466109841 Email [email protected] Please try and avoid ringing as we have limited lines and our doctors are doing phone consults We will endeavour to get everyone vaccinated as soon as we can .
