24.01.2022 Swim Squad training starts tomorrow 7th October. Sessions are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Mini Squad starts at 3.30pm followed by Senior Squad at 4pm. No need to book, just come to the pool at these times or call 0499861365 or 0429958058 for more info.

18.01.2022 A Community meeting will be held next Tuesday 15th December at the Cardwell Country Club at 5.30pm. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an update on the progress of the Cardwell Tropical MTB feasibility study and concept design. The meeting attendees will be addressed by a representative from World Trail. Be sure to attend to see where we are at with this exciting project.

18.01.2022 COVID - 19 There is no current advice to avoid swimming. So we are currently still open and continuing our Water Aerobics, Learn to Swim classes and Squad Training. We ask that all visitors to our pool practice increased hygiene when using the pool. We recommend washing of hands and if possible a shower before swimming.... We will be guided by the Cassowary Coast Council as well as the State and Federal Government in relation to the current Covid -19 situation. At this point in time Cardwell Pool is open and will remain so unless directed to close. If any of our pool clientele are feeling unwell please stay home until your symptoms have passed. 16.01.2022 Its warming up so we are introducing our very own Water Bootcamp with Mark. This class is full of fun and energizing activities designed to help you reach your fitness goals. The exercises are performed in water that is chest deep and no swimming skills are needed to participate. Regardless of your age, size, or fitness level, you can achieve very noticeable results. Whether you are a beginner, an avid fitness enthusiast or simply looking for a new type of workout, this pool workout adventure is for you! Classes are scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays at 5.30pm and will commence Monday the 9th November. Cost is ONLY $6

14.01.2022 A water pipe has recently burst at the Pool therefore the pool has had to be drained whilst repairs are made. Unfortunately we will now be re-opening on the 24th August. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. See you all soon!

13.01.2022 This Saturday Cardwell will gather at the Cardwell Country Club to say goodbye to our dear friend Margy. Margy used to enjoy her Tuesday morning tea at the pool with her lovely friends Jenny, Arli and Jackie. We will miss you dear Margy, you will forever be in out thoughts.

12.01.2022 THE BORDERS ARE CLOSED BUT THE POOL IS OPEN! And after our long break we are feeling generous and that means big savings for you. Thats right Cardwell Pool have dropped the admission prices. Pool entry is now only $3.00 for Adults/Pensioners and $2.00 for Children or bring the family for just $10.00 and enjoy some time at the pool. Pool hours until the 6th September are Monday to Friday: 7am to 12pm and 3pm to 6pm Weekends: 10am to 2pm.

We have made a decision to cancel all Learn to Swim classes for this term. We will apply a credit to your account for the next block of Learn to Swim classes to start in September. 05.01.2022 Nearly 2 years ago we asked Brent if he would like to work with us at Cardwell Pool as a lifeguard. In that time he has become a valuable, reliable employee as well as a lifelong friend 2 weeks ago Brent moved to Townsville to commence his Bachelor of Education at James Cook University. Brent is an example of hardwork and dedication. He has overcome life challenges to be where he is today and we are so proud of him. Don't worry you will still see his happy smiling face at the pool from time to time. The very best of luck Brent for the next chapter of life's incredible journey.

04.01.2022 Under stage one of the State Government’s coronavirus road map, Council Pools are able to reopen this weekend with conditons and strict guidelines. At the moment both changerooms at the Cardwell Pool are being upgraded and therefore uable to be accessed. Therefore Cardwell Pool will remain closed until after the usual winter shutdown. Everyone has faced challenges over the past few months and none more so than small business. Please be paitient as we all work together to move forward and return to some state of "normality" in the very near future.

04.01.2022 Meet the Jensen's. Adele, Rocky and Lauren started with Mark in his Learn to Swim classes some 8 years ago and now train in squad at the Cardwell Pool. On the weekend they smashed their existing personal best times in the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle at the North Queensland Swimming Championships held in Townsville. They are now waiting on confirmation of qualifying for the State Championships to be held in Brisbane later in the year. These young swimmers are a credit to themselves and all of Cardwell. Well done!

03.01.2022 As most of our regulars know Mark and I are visiting our southern family for Christmas. Our wonderful staff led by our friendly and efficient Brent are looking after all of our valued customers and visitors to the pool during this time.
