25.01.2022 Hi everyone. Just a reminder that we have cancelled the school fete that was planned for September. Apologies if this has cause inconvenience to some of you but due to the COVID circumstances we simply cannot run this event in the way that we had planned to. The school may still have a small commemoration event after the September school holidays end but this will only be to acknowledge the 150th anniversary. Thanks for your understanding, Antonette P&C President.

20.01.2022 Hi everyone. We are in desperate need of photos please!!! We need photos for our celebrations booklet that will be on sale at the event that has been kindly organised by Stephanie Berger. Please have a look in those boxes hiding in your cupboard and send them to the school at 43 Victoria street Cardwell QLD 4849. Please let us know if you want your photos returned. 09.01.2022 Hello again!! Our final meeting for 2019 is next Wednesday 13th November at 5pm at our NEW LOCATION...... Cardwell State School undercover area. Please bring along any new thoughts and ideas to help create a memorable event next September for the 150 year anniversary for Education in Cardwell!!! If you cannot make the meeting I can present a suggestion for you, please contact me via email - [email protected]. We do have a timeline for the afternoon coming together nicely. Entertainment is being organised and shortly I will be moving onto looking for financial sponsorship and support so that we can aim to have a FAMILY FRIENDLY FREE EVENT for all to enjoy. 09.01.2022 Hello families and friends!! This is the start of what will be an amazing celebration in our beautiful town of Cardwell. SAVE THE DATE!!! Saturday 12th September 2020 we will be holding a wonderful celebration at the Cardwell State School to celebrate 150 years of education in Cardwell. The time has come to start digging through old boxes and cupboards for photos or memorabilia and spread the word to all of your family and friends who have been associated with education in C...ardwell. Please give me a little time to set everything up properly but I would like to say that already, the community has shown great interest and support in this event. We have our first meeting on Wednesday 14th August (venue TBC) so please come along with all of your great ideas and enthusiasm. 08.01.2022 Hi there. I have decided to cancel Septembers meeting which was scheduled for tomorrow. I’m sorry about the late notice but haven’t had the chance to chase up any agenda items. 02.01.2022 Good evening everyone!! Our school fete is coming along nicely but now we need help from you!! We are focusing on the past 25 years and are calling for all school photos and uniforms over this time (from 1995). We will have a place to pin up photos in relation to the year it was taken so if you have any photos to share, we ask that they be posted to: Cardwell P&C 43 Victoria Street Cardwell QLD 4849 or email them to [email protected] and I will print them out for you. Please include the year that the photo was from. All uniforms can be posted to the above address and they will be on display also. We need your help so please dig deep into those old photo boxes.
