20.01.2022 Thank you to everyone that came along and supported this year's Cardwell UFO Festival. It was great to see the town so alive. We will be back next year, even more, motivated than ever to bring an 'out there' fun time to you all. 19.01.2022 $? $2000 reward is still on offer to help get those responsible for stealing the Cardwell UFO Festival signage. We need a little more help in connecting a few dots. ... If you were driving along the highway in Cardwell between Friday 7th August from 7:30pm and midnight and Saturday 8th August from Midnight to daybreak, and you have dashcam footage we would like to review it. We need to narrow down the time certain vehicles were parked at the foreshore. And if particular people of interest were walking around the area All people helping with information will be kept annoynmous. 07.01.2022 EDIT 12th August 2020- $2000 Thank you to the person that rang yesterday with information and the generous addition of reward money which has taken our reward to $2000 The information has been very helpful, however we just need a little more info to add to what we already have. ... So... if you think you may have some info that could help us you could earn yourself $2000. Those that help us will remain anonymous. We just want to get to the bottom of this lowly act. EDIT - the reward is now $1500 thanks to another member of the public who has generously offered their support in helping find the lowlifes. We need your help Last night Friday 7th August or early Saturday8th August morning we had our big banner that we put up each year on the basketball courts fence at the dugong Park on the highway and the information coreflutes we had set up along the foreshore ready for our Sunday markets stolen. This theft has been reported to the Police We are also offering $2000 reward for information that directs us to the thieves (scumbags) This is so disappointing to us, as the deliberate sabotaging of the promotion of this weekend's festival impacts not only the festival but also our business community who benefit from the visitors to our town.
