16.01.2022 Another round of CONGRATS to sporting clubs across Bass. If you haven't yet applied - APPLY NOW It is easy as! Closing date extended until 30 June.... We love our sporting clubs - they are so much more than keeping us fit and active. They give us emotional support, sense of connection, players are mentored and given skills to be their best, and there is always a shoulder and an ear when someone is going through a tough time. Local clubs, leagues and associations have been hit hard which is why we have this COVID-19 short term survival grant. It makes it a little bit easier to start up training, pay a few bills, buy some products too. Thanks so much to all the volunteers, who give their time, energy and passion to their club and members. Coaches, umpires, scorers, runners, fundraisers, sponsors, first aiders, canteen crew, team managers, club presidents, secretaries, treasurers and committee members - you are all GOLD! Amazing work you've all done and can't wait to catch-up in person. https://sport.vic.gov.au//community-sport-sector-coronavir Cardinia Tigers Reclink Football Club Clyde Junior Football Club Inverloch Tennis Club Pakenham Cricket Club Pakenham Football Netball club Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) Cardinia Cricket Club Cowes Yacht Club Kooweerup Cricket Club Phillip Island & District Basketball Association Phillip Island Pony Club San Remo Bowls Club South Gippsland Adult Riding Club South Gippsland Bass Swimming Club Westernport Field & Game Pakenham Lions Junior Football Club image precovid

16.01.2022 GAME ON AT THE PEN! With the news we’ve all been waiting for being announced over the last few days, we are thrilled to announce that training will resume. Whilst the excitement is strong to reunite as a club again, we are about to have a season like no other. As we begin to adapt to the new ‘norm’ of community sport, our number one priority is the health and safety of our club, players, their families and the wider community. ... With that being said, the club has a dedicated Covid Officer who has been working tirelessly to ensure our club is covid safe for the season ahead. The club will be strictly limited to groups of 11 for training exercises, ensuring each group is socially distant, wearing face coverings, throughly cleaning all equipment between each training time slot and keeping records of who has attended training via our QR code. Hygiene packs will be supplied to each training group for the duration of training for all players, coaches and committee members to use. To make it easier on junior training beginning tomorrow night, with Under 10s & 12s at 4.30pm and Under 14s at 5.45pm, below is the link for all parents to ensure their child is registered and ready to go for the season ahead: https://www.playcricket.com.au/club-finder/club-details For even more important information, like the page through the following link which outlines everything you need to know. https://www.facebook.com/CVSouthEastCountry/ Last but not least, welcome back! Season 2020/21 is shaping up to be such an exciting season for everyone involved at the Cardinia Cricket Club, we can’t wait to get stuck into the season! #bullpen
