25.01.2022 PYJAMA WEEK AT CARE-A-LOT Thank you to all our wonderful families, children and educators for supporting Pyjama Day/week for the Asthma Foundation. It was perfect weather to come to kindy in our PJ's, warm slippers or ugg boots and our fluffy, cosy robes. We had so much fun, while we were toasty warm! Thank you for all your wonderful contributions. We appreciate your support and generosity.

12.01.2022 It is always such a special time for our preschoolers to go visit Dorothy Boyt House and spend some time with the elderly residents. It brings a smile to their... faces and ours too, all while we learn about empathy, respect, inclusion, diversity and giving back to our community. Well done Kookaburra class. See more

07.01.2022 Our fabulous morning at Chifley Public School. Thank you to Chifley Public School, and especially the year 5 children who were so welcoming and helpful to all our preschool children. Being a part of a big school community certainly helps us with our transition to school program. The children had a wonderful time and were incredible ambassadors for Care-A-Lot Childcare Centre.

07.01.2022 Slimey Creations The children had fun making slime with our Educators. They chose the colour that was going to be made and blue was the favourite to start. Glue... and glitter was added to the bowl with the paint and we all took turns to stir it. A small amount of borax was then added and kneaded to bring it all together into our favourite tactile experience of slime. The children loved the feeling of it and even shook it out with the help of the Educators to make a thin sheet of slime that floated in the air like a kite. It's a great sensory provision and encourages language, creativity, knowledge of science and texture as well as it is relaxing and calming for the children and the educators too! See more

01.01.2022 Welcome to Jackie, Kevin and all their amazing creatures from Features Creatures. What a great hands on learning experience that kept every child captivated. We met frogs, lizards, spiders, turtles, stick insects, a baby crocodile and even some snakes. Super exciting experience this morning. We loved every minute of it. Well done to all our Care-A-Lot children for being so welcoming and enthusiastic.
