15.01.2022 Not getting interviews? With a tight job market and increased applications, recruiters are increasingly relying on technology to streamline their processes. The Applicant Tracking System (ATS) ranks candidates based on the number of key words. Improve your ranking, Add keywords from the job advertisement to your CV. Where they fit, replace your wording with terminology from the job advert/description or company web site. Use plain text, traditional heads and avoid gr...aphics. Keep headings and text simple, and traditional for ease of read by both the recruiter and ATS. Use a Key Skills or Areas of Expertise section to list your strongest skills, capturing or repeating keywords. A CV targeted and tailored to each role, featuring key words used by the employer will improve your chances of success. See more

10.01.2022 The world has gone a little crazy so the CV you used last week, is not so relevant this week. Employers will be looking for completely different skill sets, this affects what experience you highlight. I’ve got new and continuing clients and we are going to review what employers in their industry will be looking for now and, once a new normal has been established. For my Training and Development Manager, we need to demonstrate his ability to develop and deliver online courses..., the systems he has used and his experience working with remote clients, - this will be his strongest selling point. For my Finance Manager, we will emphasis her achievements developing new processes in environments that are constantly evolving, what problems she solved and systems she established, and how she managed her team through the significant change. My Warehouse Supervisor will need to demonstrate his ability to adapt quickly, to bring a new team together, retaining a strong safety focus, in a very busy and constant developing warehousing operation. We will discuss the need to be open to casual opportunity, to roles not clearly defined, to video interviewing, skype and zoom. We got this! We are adding resilience to our key skill sets
