08.01.2022 Great news for women in Victoria - the landmark Gender Equality Bill has passed the lower house. This bill will contribute to closing the gender pay gap, improving gender equality at all levels of the public sector workforce and reducing workplace sexual harassment. It legislates what we already know, that Gender Equality benefits everyone. ... Thanks to all members who made such inspiring contributions today - I look forward to it heading to the Legislative Council in a fortnight.
