19.01.2022 "Tell me about yourself". I love this interview question. It is the only formal question you will get in an interview that isn't about work. Don't blow this question by boring the interviewer with the stock standard career-related answer. Have a think about you, your interests, hobbies, ambitions, reading list, favourite podcast, favourite holiday destination...Of course finish your introduction with a brief career summary but use this question to build immediate rapport and ...reveal a little about yourself. After all we are all human and want to like who we work with. Here is a bit about me "I am a wife, a mum and I am the fun maker at home. One of my life philosophies is 'life is there to be lived'. Therefore I keep busy when not working with various activities such as stand up paddleboarding, 5km Parkruns and various podcasts. I am currently writing a children's book for my child which celebrates the life of my late mum. When I am not having fun and spending time with my family I am working as a career consultant and have done so for nearly 10 years. I love what I do, One of my favourite parts of my career is helping others declutter their thoughts and find confidence and clarity.
