03.01.2022 Today, we celebrate 11 years of CareerTrackers! Our mission remains unchanged, to continue building for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representation across all sectors of professional employment and nurture the emerging leaders for our future. Last year, Redfern based artist, Blak Douglas was commissioned to tell the story of CareerTrackers. He came back with this 2-metre wide canvas that resides in our Melbourne Office, ‘Establishing Credentials’. Blak explains thro...ugh his art that the road will be rocky. Finding the key to advancement will take some working. In this case, the ‘Excalibur’ key will not present itself easily. Once in your possession, one needs to map the pathway to unlocking the door. The giant door represents the establishment and on which is granting access. Beyond the door represents a world of opportunity - the hopes, dreams and aspirations of CareerTrackers interns. This work symbolises the journey of our community, and as we reflect on our last 11 years today, we look to our 50-year vision of building a brighter, shared future. #careertrackers #blakdouglas #elevenyears
