20.01.2022 Meet Danni, a Senior Flight Nurse who flies with patients across the country. Danni has been working with CareFlight for 11 years and in that time has seen the charity become an integral part of the community. Her job as senior flight nurse has seen her travel all over Australia and the world with CareFlight, looking after patients in their time of need. ... The most rewarding thing about working for CareFlight is being able to provide high level care while transporting patients to hospitals or home from international destinations. Danni joined the CareFlight Challenge setting her distance at 100km. She has participated in the Woodford to Glenbrook Classic in the past and wanted to stay motivated and active during COVID-19 restrictions while also raising funds for CareFlight. CareFlight needs fundraising events so that we can purchase equipment that allows us to provide care for patients. It also helps with staff training to ensure that the nurses and doctors are up to date providing the best practice care to our patients.
