18.01.2022 The last patient recovering from COVID-19 in South Australia has been given a guard of honour as he left the Royal Adelaide Hospital today. Paul contracted the ...disease on the Ruby Princess and became so ill that he was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and put into an induced coma and on a ventilator for about four weeks. He is in good spirits now and very thankful for the care he received. Paul is still recovering and will now be receiving care closer to home at Modbury Hospital. We wish him all the best in his recovery

14.01.2022 Save Baby Zyri’s heart...and a life! A plea by @careforthemasses to you all. Baby Zyri Lael was born November 1st, 2020 with truncus arteriosus, a rare heart condition that threatens her young life. Doctors have given her six months to live unless she has life-saving surgery done within the next two months. It is heartbreaking. You know that feeling as a father where you want to provide for your baby to survive but your resources are just not sufficient to make the surgery... happen. It’s tough-- I just got back to having a job from a prolonged COVID lockdown." - Mike Nowhere did I see this happening. I thought we prepared well by being healthy, being positive, and saving for the delivery. I just cry every night knowing that our baby might not live long enough if surgery is not done immediately" -RK Unfortunately, no one can do the operation in their locality and they would have to bring baby Zyri to the Philippine Heart Center in the country’s capital, Manila. The young family was told to prepare around $50,000 for the surgical operation, doctor’s fees, lab tests and hospital expenses as well as travel and accommodations. Presently, baby Zyri is under the care of Chong Hua’s NICU in Cebu, Philippines fighting meconium-aspirated pneumonia, a complication from her mom RK’s prolonged labor. While she is being treated, we are raising funds so she can get the critical surgery she needs to live. As parents, we need to exhaust everything to get all the help we need it's truly heartbreaking because we want our baby to live longer, says Mike. 12.01.2022 Last Friday, @careforthemasses Australia collaborated with local Indonesian charity partner @naskah_jakarta to distribute packs of meals and drinks to the street people of Jakarta. Meals were prepared by @ahyumchicken. This beautiful initiative was referred by and was done with heartfelt work by our dear @henry_susanti . Thanks to all parties for making it all happen!
