Answer: While there have been no changes to the official Government rules around aged care visits, some homes that initially expanded upon the Government restrictions around visitor access have started to ease back and allow more opportunities for visits. If you have a loved one in an aged care home now's a good time to get in touch to see if a visit might be possible again.

The code was recently updated and reflects several changes, including that spouses and partners should not be limited in the hours spent visiting loved ones in aged care.
