24.01.2022 It’s been a big few weeks here at Carenci! Delta had 6 beautiful babies by Murphy on the 3rd August and then Diva had her One precious baby on the 12th. The last few days have been a bit stressful with Delta going down to Milk Fever but thanks to the amazing support from fellow breeders and our great local vets we are working through it! Looking forward to seeing these beautiful babies grow up!

21.01.2022 The babies were very brave getting their first vaccinations and microchip yesterday. They actually enjoyed their day out with the ladies at Monto Vet. We are lucky to have such great team that are always willing to go the extra mile for our precious babies

15.01.2022 I wanted to feature the man of the moment, Fergwyn Like My style. Murphy or Smurf is owned by Michelle Young of Fergwyn kennels and is having a country Covid holiday with us here at Carenci. Murphy is not only an Australian champion but he is a delight to have around and absolutely adores his girls. I have joked that he is like a dapper city gent showing up in the bush with his polished boots and crisp moleskin jeans, it hasn’t taken long for him to learn to change into work boots and wranglers, (with cow poo scented cologne). We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to have Murphy come and visit and hopefully if all the stars align he will leave us a lasting reminder when he returns to his star studded life in Sydney.

15.01.2022 It must be a colour thing!! These babies are off on their lifetime adventure to meet their new families very soon. The reds have all decided they are going to be super snuggly on a towel they have been dragging around today and the tris are spread out on the comfy beds being very independent. Hmmm

10.01.2022 THANK YOU I would like to give a big shout out to Welsh Pembroke and Cardigan Corgi breeders of Australia. Like most breeders I have had an overwhelming amount of enquiries for puppies lately. I can understand peoples frustration that corgis are very difficult to obtain and certainly not cheap. However the reason this delightful dog is in such high demand is because the breeders have not only preserved the breed but fiercely protected it. Corgis from registered kennels in Australia are of excellent type and temperament, therefore guaranteeing the future and longevity of the breed. I would like to say Thank You to all the breeders both past and present for your contribution to the Welsh Pembroke and Cardigan Corgi in Australia.

10.01.2022 What a way to end a week!! Got home this afternoon to find Diva’s (now can officially be CH Cuuchin Black Tower) champion certificate in the mail. I even managed to get an nice informal shot of the Diva looking quite important. Joyce Wheeler-Craze I can never thank you enough for allowing this beautiful girl to come into our lives. Also a big shout out to Sue Fisher for all your help and guidance in the show ring!

10.01.2022 Over the next few posts I would like to introduce the gang that make up Carenci Corgis. There is no better place to start than with Cuuchin Black Tower or Diva. She was my first champion and is the queen of Carenci ruling over the entire household, dogs and people alike. Diva loves attention and the show ring, I’m sure she believes that all those people and dogs have come just to see her strut her stuff. She will always reign supreme and her throne sits beside my bed

07.01.2022 Happy First Birthday to the Melbourne Cup Litter!! These beautiful kids have wonderful families across the world living very diverse lives. Ollie lives in Hong Kong, Kibble in Melbourne, Daisy in Brisbane, Maple's a country girl in Mundubberra and Bridie is still at home with us.

01.01.2022 Our next introduction is Izalab Delta or Delly as she is most affectionately known. From the time she was a little puppy her aspiration has been to be one of the working dogs, she just wanted to be as big and strong and fast as they are. Unfortunately or fortunately for us, her legs just couldn’t allow her to keep up. She really did not like the show ring but is the most loving dog and was the most amazing Mum. I don’t think I’ve ever been around a bitch that just never tired of caring for her babies no matter how trying they got.
