08.01.2022 Saccharomyces cerevisiae (boulardii) - what a powerful little yeast you are! Often mistaken for a pro-biotic this little guy is a bomb for gut protection from travellers guts which as we all know can happen at home too. There seems to be a flush of cases coming into the local pharmacy I practice out of and the beauty in of this little guy is you can use it preventatively OR as part of your treatment. I had to leave work early on Thursday with doomed feeling that I may not have missed the latest bug going around: on my way out I grabbed a box of SB and by that evening knew my symptoms were halted at cramps only and i was back on the road to recovery!
