23.01.2022 Research shows that many carers live on very limited incomes and find it hard to make ends meet. 1 in every 2 carers who responded to the 2020 National Carer Survey had experienced some form of financial stress in the past 12 months, compared to only 1 in 5 Australian households overall. Carers NSW is looking into what can be done to better support carers experiencing financial hardship and living in poverty. If you have experienced financial hardship as a carer and have ideas or suggestions about what might help, please let the Carers NSW Policy team know by completing our online Policy Advice Form at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/policy_advice_form You can also call Carers NSW on 02 9280 4744 or email [email protected] or
