25.01.2022 Workplaces have dramatically changed over the last years. Calls for more sophisticated and essential skills have increased too. A growth mindset, conflict resol...ution, listening and decision-making are some of the soft skills that we may need to consider to further our careers. Soft skills are interpersonal skills and widely applicable across industries and roles. We can all work on these skills through practice. You can figure out a way of doing it on your own. Or you can do it with a coach. Guidance from a coach is essential to your success, and at Your Caring Way, our Vocational Coaches are available to support your progress. You can start where you are. 21.01.2022 Today marks the beginning of National Carers Week (11-17 October). Get involved at www.carersqld.com.au/carers-week. Anyone at any time can become a carer and National Carers Week is an opportunity to raise community awareness among all Australians about the diversity of carers and their caring roles. Carers make an enormous contribution to our communities as well as our national economy. Should all carers decide to stop performing their caring role, it would cost the country... $77.9 billion per year to replace those supports that’s over $1.5 billion per week. Our Prime Minister Scott Morrison discusses the importance of Australia's unpaid carers, "A quiet kindness by quiet people." 21.01.2022 At Your Caring Way we approach work with curiosity and passion. We love learning and sharing our knowledge with you, and we are here to support your growth. But... we are also interested in knowing what you like and care about the most. We want to know what’s on your mind. We want to hear your thoughts on our program, our website, its content, design, resources and accessibility so we can then adjust what needs to be changed. We want to answer your questions, and create better experiences for you. That’s why we’ve designed this two-minute survey which we think is a great opportunity for you to share your thoughts and for us to listen. Complete the survey https://bit.ly/2ZrahuZ
