09.01.2022 It is important for #caregivers to take care of themselves to rejuvenate and energise. Feeling tired, isolated and overwhelmed is natural. Know how to combat that: https://bit.ly/2XM8zEG #caretochange #QLD #NDIS

09.01.2022 What Care to Change is doing to keep our participants and staff safe and prepared during the Coronavirus outbreak: -Reminding staff what COVID-19 is and the importance of assisting participants to be prepared, but not panicked -Talking to participants, particularly those 'at risk', about ways they can stay safe. This includes hand hygiene, avoiding crowds and rescheduling non-urgent outings. We are also encouraging online alternatives such as video calls and home deliveries.... -Providing regular updates to staff in line with departmental guidance. Staff have undertaken a refresher course on infection control, and know what to do if they (or a participant) begin to display flu-like symptoms. -We have ordered additional personal protective equipment and spoken with temporary staffing agencies to help ensure our participants always have support, even in the event of widespread staff illness. Take care of yourselves
