13.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE: On 23 March 2020 the Minister made Public Health Order that directs the closure of certain places of social gathering, including gyms and othe...r indoor recreation facilities. Keeping fit remains important, visit Make Healthy Normal for workouts you can try at home. --------------------------------------------------- Is it safe for me to go to the gym? Here are some tips on social distancing in gyms: Keeping fit remains important. If you are well and have not been asked to self-isolate then you can go to the gym. Dont go to the gym if you are unwell. You should use wipes provided before you use each piece of equipment. You should try to go to the gym when its less crowded. Gym classes are currently OK, but this advice may change. Gyms should be ensuring that they are cleaning regularly, using appropriate disinfectant Read more: https://www.health.nsw.gov.au//Pages/coronavirus-faqs.aspx

07.01.2022 Competition time!!! To celebrate 2 years of making dresses and also moving to new premises in September we have decided to run our biggest competition ever!... We will design and create a dress for one very lucky dancer!! The dress itself will be worth up to 1600, but to make it even more exciting we will also give away 1 dress bag and 2 Glam Stitch hoodies to runners up! The total value of this competition is close to 1800!! There are no tickets to buy, etc... This is exactly as stated, someone will get a free dress! There are, however, certain rules that are in place and those will be listed on the bottom of this post To be in with a chance to win the dress or the accessories you need to do 4 things: Like a share this post Like our Facebook Page Follow us on Instagram @Glamstitchantrim Tag 3 dance friends (tagging means the name goes "bold") AND write your Instagram account name The competition will run until midnight on Saturday the 29th of August (GMT). The winners will be drawn live on Sunday the 30th of August. Rules and Regulations: Anyone from around the world can take part in the competition. The dress will be posted to overseas winner. If you are within travelling distance then you will be invited to our studio on Friday the 4th of December for the final fit. The dancer will get their make up and photo shoot done on the day. You will only be able to chose the colour of the dress and you will not see the final design until the day of collection (or until it is shipped). If you are already booked for a dress and you win we will be contacting you to discuss the options based on your slot's date. Each person can only enter the competition once. All 4 of the criteria points need to be fulfilled for the entry to be valid. If you do not have Instagram account it needs to be set up . We will leave a like under every valid entry on this post. 01.01.2022 Carey South West Academy is committed to providing a safe environment for our students to continue to thrive. In response to the current covid-19 healthplan we have reviewed our classes in line with social distancing guidelines which has resulted in smaller class numbers and utilising a larger space to conduct a classs. We have provided education to our students on the importance of hand washing, physical distancing and cough/sneeze etiquette. The studio has increased clean...ing shedules and as usual continues to disinfect hand rails and surfaces regularly. Hand sanitizer is readily available at the studio. We ask that where possible parents and carers drop off students and pick up after class rather than waiting in the waiting area. For our jumpn' jiggers, we have already reduced our class numbers and we will be reviewing our distancing methods with the help of parents, we can even trial little ones coming into class on their own where they're comfortable. Thankyou for your continued support, we look forward to returning to our normal routine at some stage and will continue to follow advice from NSW Health. We ask that anyone attending the studio and/or classes must not enter this facility if: they have a fever or a cold and flu-like illness or they have been overseas in the last 14 days or they have been in contact with anyone who has COVID- 19 in the last 14 days Thankyou in advance for your consideration
