18.01.2022 GETTING TO KNOW CAREY BAY SMALL ENGINE SERVICE AND REPAIRS! Why we moved to this beautiful part of the world! We moved here from country NSW, a town called Molong - which was a great part of central NSW, with a strong family community. ... Once our kids were grown up and had families of their own, they had moved to away from our home town, we wondered why we were staying here. So we decided to uproot what we knew and move closer to our kids and now their families. So we could be close to our grandkids and create new memories all together. Although we are still very new to the area, we have always had an affinity with Lake Macquarie and the Newcastle region with other family being here. Now after moving here in July 2019 we haven't looked back and have loved being close to the lake, and of course, the fabulous weather, not to mention it still has the small-town feeling, which we love. 08.01.2022 WHAT I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS WEEK: A Hasquvarna Blower wasn't doing what it should, so I had to give it a real good once over and this is what i found and fixed up: Remove broken bolts from blower as the fan jamming the pull start... Repair coil Replace spark plug lead Replace fuel line and filter Replace Carby Gaskets Tune up And now she is purring like a kitten or blowing like a gale! If you want your blower to work more efficiently- drop it off and I will take care of it for you.

02.01.2022 HANDY TIPS AND TRICKS Looking after your brushcutter correctly Before you crank over your brushcutter make sure you check the following: - Test and check the throttle lock to ensure it is working correctly... - The guards don't have any cracks or damage as this will need to be replaced as it won't be safe to use - The head to ensure it also doesn't have any cracks or damage to it - All nuts and screws to make sure there are no loose nuts and the screws are holding in place correctly After each use give it a good clean, inside and out as this will help with the overall maintenance of your brushcutter- which will offer longevity of it and keep you and the people around you safe. 02.01.2022 TIPS AND TRICKS! The best way to clean your mower: Like any engine, a lawnmower engine needs regular attention to ensure it is running as efficiently as possible.... 1. Check the air filter, or just replace it every year to help the engine run efficiently. 2. Check the spark plug, it is actually a great idea to replace it every year so it helps you to start your mower with ease. 3. Check the oil to make sure it isn't old or has debris sitting in it. If it has - drain the old oil out and replace it with fresh oil (be sure to put the correct oil back in). 4. Drain excess fuel out if the mower if it is going to be sitting idle for a long time, as this is one of the main reasons why lawnmowers won't start. 5. Clean the undercarriage - make sure there is no old grass sitting and clogging up this whole area and prevent it from doing what it should do! 6. Get your mower serviced every year - this is where you call me to help you keep your lawnmower running well! #springcleanup #lawn #tipsandtricks #maintainyourlawnmower
