Eli has been a great addition to the Sunrise crew and has fit in perfectly. He is a team player and always looks out for his work mates. 19.01.2022 On Monday, five shortlisted candidates for our Sunrise Dam Trainee Program flew to site for an overnight trip to see the mine, go on a pit tour and ride along in the dump trucks, as well as experience the camp and food. The experience provides a better insight into the FIFO lifestyle within the Mining Industry prior to commencement of employment. 18.01.2022 We are proud to mark our 25 year relationship with AngloGold Ashanti Australia with our first stand-alone mining contract at the Golden Delicious satellite open pit at the Sunrise Dam gold mine. "What we did with AngloGold Ashanti in the beginning at Sunrise Dam was the first agreement of its kind in this country between Aboriginal people and the mining sector. More broadly, it established a new path of including Aboriginal people in business. 16.01.2022 On the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month, a minute’s silence is observed and dedicated to those soldiers who died fighting to protect the nation. Carey’s own Sui Kamid (pictured) is a proud Australian Army Veteran. He joined the Army in 1969 and served in Malaya, Singapore and in South Vietnam. After completing his full-time service he joined the Reserves, serving with Pilbara Regiment and also with NORFORCE in the Northern Territory. Sui retired with the rank of ...WO Class 2 and continues his work at Carey as a Supervisor. She completes every task with a smile and attempts to provide solutions to problems wherever she can. Hazels communication and listening skills are second to none. Through the roster changes on site, Hazel organised and coordinated flights and accommodation to get everyone back to where they needed to be.
