24.01.2022 It's that time again, the Uraidla and Summertown Country Show is on this Sunday, and Basket Range Sandstone is once again a proud partner of the show. If you are looking for something to do this Sunday look no further, great for kids and adults alike, this show has it all, from chicken, ducks and horses to sheepdog trials, rides, stalls and displays (keep an eye out for ours, including our monolithic stone table) to pumpkin throwing (trebuchet, baby), with wood chopping, mar...tial arts, ballet and cheerleading displays. For the adults, we have the Sustainability Fair, workshops, good food, wine and music. And what is a good show without fireworks! 24.01.2022 The Basket Range Sandstone Uraidla Show Sunday 5th November 2017 Uraidla Showgrounds, Swamp Rd, Uraidla... Entry is $5 per adult, ages 12 and under are free Come by and see our Basket Range and Carey Gully Sandstone display, featuring a Carey Gully Sandstone monolithic stone table to be left as a permanent fixture for the community, and one of our big machines to have a look at. It will be a great day for the whole family with lots to see and do. Animals, Local Food and Wine, Music, Rides, and don’t forget the fireworks!

22.01.2022 Roadworks still ongoing, please be aware and choose your route wisely, for easy access Google Maps has the road works built in and will calculate a route around the affected area. The only way into Carey Gully Sandstone is from the Balhannah end of Greenhill Rd, not far up from the end of the roadworks so it is relatively painless. Please drive through carefully obeying all road workers and safety signs. Please use the link below for more information and for links to open up directions with google maps.

17.01.2022 Basket Range Sandstone is setting up a small display at the Hahndorf Academy's Imagine the Past event on Sunday 5th of May. Come along and see us along with the old trade practitioners. One of our regular stonemasons is exhibiting Traditional Dry Stone Walling utilising Carey Gully's Sandstone. Look for us and Jon from JRM Stonework behind the academy on the day.
