19.01.2022 ***APPLICATIONS CLOSED*** WE ARE HIRING 2x CHASER BIN DRIVER POSITIONS AVAILABLE We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team for the Harvest 2020 season. ... Applications are open for submission now for Chaser bin driver positions available between (mid/late) October to (mid/late) December. Successful applicants will be required to undertake a range of tasks such as driving a John Deere tractor with chaser bin, loading and unloading grain, fuelling vehicles, basic machinery maintenance and general yard work. Chaser bin drivers will be working in a fast paced environment coordinating with 3 harvesters and 2 grain trucks. Recent training or previous experience in a similar role is preferred and successful applicants must hold a current valid manual driver’s licence. Fully self-contained accommodation is provided for the duration of the employment period. Successful applicants are required to have the following: - Current MC licence - Current Fitness to Drive medical certificate for a Commercial Vehicle Driver - Successful completion of Main Roads WA Fatigue Management course (online) - The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to Main Roads WA & CBH legislation Cargarie Farms is accredited with Main Roads Western Australia. Duties include loading wheat, barley and canola from field bins into the road train, transporting the grain from our farm to CBH (Grass Patch and Esperance), daily vehicle checks and general daily vehicle maintenance. Previous experience in the bulk haulage industry and delivery of grain to CBH are preferred.
