25.01.2022 PETstock Assist Grant - Lincoln Park Horse and Human Rehabilitation Centre Inc. "Studies have shown that being around horses can affect human brain wave pat...terns and adjust moods. The horses we use in our program are real rescues that may have suffered neglect, abuse or come via RSPCA seizures," - Sonya, Lincoln Park Horse and Human Rehabilitation Centre Lincoln Park Horse and Human Rehabilitation Centre specialises in offering Equine Assisted Therapy for people with PTSD, anxiety, depression and other mental health issues. The horses used in the program are rescue horses or horses that have been surrendered, and assessed as suitable in providing equine therapy work. To support the group, PETstock Assist has donated a grant of $20,590 for the purchase of a new horse float. This will replace an old, inadequate float and be safe for all types of horses. We'll keep you updated on the success stories and initiatives of this wonderful charity. A PETstock Assist story.
