08.01.2022 The Carinda & District Race Club sadly announces the passing of its Life Member, Pat Regan. She loved the Carinda races. If she wasn’t in the crowd following the horses she was organising the food, making her famous rissoles, buttering the bread for the barbeque and serving the food on Race Day. And it did not matter how tired she was, she always made it to the clean up working bee after the races. The Club extends its condolences to the Regan family she was an amazing lady and she will be deeply missed by all. Her funeral will be held on Saturday 2nd November at the Carinda Catholic Church at 11am.

01.01.2022 Carinda’s Far West Store is up and running. It is a local art gallery and craft shop and may be of interest to those of you coming to the Races. For the ladies needing a last minute earring or clutch for your outfit, pop in to the Far West Store and see Bec as she has some Lizzy and Me stock on hand. Bec is also serving coffee and delicious homemade gourmet food. ... Opening hours before the Races are: Friday 10 - 4 Saturday 9 - 12
