23.01.2022 We may not have made it to the finals of the Western Australian Regional Achievement Awards but we didn't need to. The nomination alone is something that will always humble me. Every time a clients walks through my door or I am privileged enough to walk through theirs, is a award I feel I win every day. Thank you for letting me do what I just love to do. A big thank you to both Haley Tuck from the Cancer Council and Sharon Warrilow for nominating me. All the best for the three incredible finalists.... You are all amazing, inspiring and selfless winners.

22.01.2022 Oh my goodness life just goes to fast. Talking to clients, we are all saying the same thing. "How could February be almost over, we only just started the year." I then ask "what are you doing for you? What are you doing to get off the busy crazy ride for a few minutes?" "Oh I wish I could........ but my diary is so full of Drs appt, specialist appt and regular everyday tasks that there just isn't the time for me." Ummmm, yes there is. Did you know you can put your own name ...in your diary/calendar/on the fridge day planner. Book your time, as you are just as important as every single other appt you have written down. Make your time happen. Tuesday 27th 10am-11:30am TCMT (taking care of me time). Looking after yourself has so many long term benefits. 21.01.2022 To the mum who is yet to find sleep, to the mum who's heart rest within angels wings, to the mum of children grown and moved, to the mum doing it on her own, to the mum surrounded by chaos and noise, to the mum rushing home from work, to the mum pacing the hospital corridors, to the mum playing in the park and to the mum waiting by the phone for a call......HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

18.01.2022 Christmas is here and you can see and feel so much love around. Celebrate and enjoy the way you do best.....Just like you celebrate your way, others may do it differently. Christmas can be a awfully hard time for some. How do you embrace the merriment when your heart is grieving and completely broken? You don't. Just be what your healing heart needs for now. Do not take on the pressure to laugh and giggle just because a certain day has a name. Keep that love one in your heart..., keep them warm and eternally loved. Maybe next year, or even a bit longer but one day you will be ready. Today is not the day and that is ok. Let those around you know you want them to dive in and have a wonderful day, but for now you are going to sit this one out. If you have a friend or family member who might be struggling, the biggest gift you can give is your acceptance of where they are at, and A hug, that's it. A hug. A hug says I'm here, it's says no pressure, it says I am at a different stage than you but I will patiently wait for you. And most importantly a hug says I care. Don't make them turn into an actor, all happy and excited on the outside and despair on the inside. Let them be for now, it's not personal, show you care and love them and just put that Christmas cheer with them on hold.....just for a little bit. Happy Fathers Day to the Dad who picked us up when we fell and the Dad that laughed and encouraged us as we tried something new. Happy Fathers Day to the Step Dads who treated us as their own and showed love is unconditional. To the Dads who have to look towards heaven with a tear as they say ‘I love you’ and those who can’t hold their children just now, Happy Fathers Day from us. 09.01.2022 A wonderful joyful Merry Christmas to all of my clients. Thank you for welcoming me into your lives and for some of you, your homes. 06.01.2022 Heartache, despair, grief, sadness. Do not shy away from these emotions. Do not hide these pure feelings. Do not keep these feelings secret from others so that they do not worry. Embrace these pure sensations of your heart. Cry, cry loud. Cry softly, cry the way you need to, though, cry with courage. Your body and soul needs this to happen.
