For students in years 10,11 and 12, this time of the year is an important one, with decisions being made that will shape their future careers. The mass cancellation of career expos was a sensible and necessary step, but it has left many students with limited access to information, at a time when they need it most. Closing that in...formation gap is a priority for all of us. With that goal in mind, we at Torrens University Australia have opened up our virtual event platform to students, teachers, parents, and tertiary education providers across the country for a unique National Virtual Careers Expo. 18.01.2022 Year 10 students were due to attend the HSC and Careers expo later this month. Year 12 students were also invited to an exclusive session after school of this event. As the face-to-face event has now been cancelled, the organisers have arranged for a virtual expo to replace it. Part of this expo are the amazing range of seminars which are offered. 11.01.2022 Looking for a bit more information regarding "ADJUSTMENT FACTORS"... more commonly known as Bonus Points??.. Macquarie University have put together a great little video to explain.. Although this is more directly related to MAC U... For those of you who missed my UAC and Bonus Points Seminar... this might give you a better idea of what you are looking at! Most Universities do cap their Bonus Points at 10 (max).. but it can vary between! Every University does things a little differently! Mrs P.
