22.01.2022 With all the news around the latest Covid outbreak on the Northern Beaches, and new venues being added to the list where potentially infectious people have visited such as Cronulla RSL, I thought I should remind everyone of our Covid Plan. Every Club and Association has a Covid Plan in place and it must be followed by all participants for tomorrow's matches. Games will go ahead but if you have been in a "hotspot area" or listed venue and/or are showing any potential symptoms ...Continue reading

15.01.2022 Presentation & BBQ CHANGE OF DATE We would like to congratulate the players from the Sutherland Shire Rep teams that have made the Grand Final. We have a number of Caringbah players that will be playing in these finals on Monday: U15's - Lachlan Clark & Sam Newton U14's - Marcus Jewell, Jack Logan & Mathew Mayer... Good Luck! Owing to these finals involving a number if the committee members, we have made the decision to move our Presentation and BBQ to WEDNESDAY 23rd December. While we understand the change may not suit everyone, we hope that we can still celebrate with the majority of our Caringbah Sports Players and families. We would like to welcome all of our players from last season back to Glenn McGrath Oval for a casual afternoon with team presentations and a BBQ on Wednesday 23rd December. Unfortunately due to Covid, a lot of our plans were put on hold, but we would still like to acknowledge the hard work and efforts of our players. We will be presenting each teams players awards and will also have team photos for collection. A BBQ and drink for all players will be provided. Wednesday 23rd December at GMO Approximate Presentation times: 4:00pm: Master Blaster & Under 10's 4:30pm: Under 12's 4:50pm: Under 12 Girls 5:00pm: Under 14's 5:30pm: Under 16's We understand it's a busy time of year, but it would be great for everyone to have a quick get together before we break up for Christmas after the year we've had. Look forward to seeing you there. Caringbah Sports Cricket Club

09.01.2022 Cricket’s Back! Fingers crossed the fields hold up to this rain and all of our players can get back to the game in the morning. Good luck for the remainder of the 2020/21 season!

02.01.2022 Girls only Master Blaster will start on Friday 12th February. It will be held at the beautiful Sutherland Oval from 5.30-7pm. The cost for the 5 weeks will be $30 and all girls will receive a bag, water bottle and ball. Clubs can provide a hat for the girls if they'd like but it is not a requirement. Clubs are welcome to send representatives to speak to the girls about club pathways but the games and skill sessions will be organised by CNSW and clubs do not need to find a te...am as the girls will be put into teams at the start of the competition. This is a perfect entry-level competition to develop the pool of girls at our clubs and develops our girls only pathway from Junior Blaster to Master Blaster to the U11 and U13 girls only competitions. It would be great if clubs could promote this competition via their website, Facebook or other Social Media, email list and word of mouth. It might also be a great idea to promote the competition on local FaceBook pages. This is the link for registrations. https://www.playcricket.com.au/club-finder/club-details The other exciting announcement is that the SSJCA has managed to secure a virtual meet and greet with Alyssa Healy on Feb 1st. Could you please send the attached information to all the girls in your club and let them know to RSVP as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity for all the SSJCA girls to ask questions to a Sixers and Australian superstar. if you have any questions, please feel free to email or call/text on 0413 139 105. Thank you Kirsten Benhiam Girls Coordinator SSJCA
