20.01.2022 Please be advised that, weather depending, the NSW RFS and Fire + Rescue NSW are intending to undertake a prescribed burn at Springwood. The hazard reduction w...ill be commencing at approximately 3pm Thursday 15 October, and carry on into Friday afternoon. Schools in the area have been contacted and parents will be advised of any actions they may need to take. 16.01.2022 For our Kindy 2021 parents, we’ve set up our sale and second hand items in sizes 4-8 front and centre. Please email a request of items to the office ladies and ...we will do our best to find those items for you. We are hoping to clear out this backlog of items as our small second hand cupboard is nowhere near spacious enough!!! Thanks to covid for disrupting our running of the shop this year! We are still sifting through the larger sizes and have a limited supply of those hanging in the cupboard currently, but we will continue working on that next week.

07.01.2022 Hi all, This is a plug for the Dads and Kids playgroup at Heatherbrae on Saturday mornings. The group has been going for many years from a few different locatio...ns and is facilitated by local dads - Simon Williams and Vasant DeMello. It's a great way to meet other Blue Mountains fathers and to spend time with your children in a lovely environment. There's a fenced outdoor area with a sand pit, garden, shade and places to sit. Inside there are great toys to play with, books to read, places to relax and tea and coffee. Heatherbrae is the old house across the road from the carpark behind Lawson Pub and the group runs every Saturday morning from 10.00-12.00. Ring 47591462 if you want to know more. See more

06.01.2022 This morning we had a lovely display of music from Joanna’s family (and Joanna). The children were fascinated by the lovely sounds from the instruments and loved being able to participate by moving their bodies to each song and dancing. We also learnt the difference between the different types of instruments we saw today, string, wind and wood!
