22.01.2022 Students in Years 7 and 8 recently went on their annual camps to some beautiful coastal locations. Year 7 went to Camp Elim near Forster, where they enjoyed participating in a high ropes course, canoeing, archery and just enjoying the beautiful beach and lake. Year 8 went to a camp site at Scotts Head. They enjoyed learning how to surf, swimming at the beach, as well as learning more about the cultural importance of the area, both Indigenous and European. The camps were a really great opportunity for students to get to know one another better in some wonderful locations and to try some very new and different activities that many have never attempted before.

21.01.2022 Camp Elim in Forster really does have it all. Year 7 had non-stop fun in Week 4 this term with the giant swing, rock climbing, archery, fishing and games galore!

18.01.2022 This week, Year 1 have been having fun with creative writing! Students learned a story through the use of repeated patterns made up of visual pictures paired with physical actions, then had a go at adding their own verse to the story based on the pattern.

08.01.2022 Students in Years 5 and 6 recently went on their annual camps. Year 5 went to Lake Keepit where they really enjoyed participating in a ropes course, canoeing, archery and also getting muddy at the obstacle course/mudrun. Year 6 went to Echidna Gully near Armidale, where they made rafts, did archery and bushwalking, and also other fun outdoor activities. Students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to get to know one another better in some lovely environments where they could try different activities.
