17.01.2022 Today we made made our weekly batch of organic bone broth for the Scotties. This week its beef knuckle with carrots, cooked for 6 hours in the pressure cooker, then into the fridge overnight to let the fat rise to the top and solidify for easy removal. Before pouring into jars for freezing the kids get the meat that fell off bone along with the chopped carrot and broth for lunch. Helps to keep them amazingly healthy

10.01.2022 Dwight D. Eisenhower, 34th President of the United States had two Scottish Terriers and its an interesting story. General Eisenhower had two Scottish Terriers with him during the Africa campaign. Their names were Caacie and Telek. There were rumors around headquarters that Telek had been a gift to the General from his Army driver and mistress, Kay Summersby. History describes Kay Summersby as a leggy beauty of English-Irish descent who in 1941 became an... MTC (Mechanized Transport Corp) chauffeur for Dwight Eisenhower. In time, Summersby and Ike, a chain smoker suffering from chronic insomnia (no doubt exacerbated by the pressures of WWII) formed a relationship. On the occasion that Kay mentioned how much she missed having a dog, and that her favorite was a Scottie named, McTavish, Eisenhower immediately asked if she would like another Scottie. Within a week, two Scotties were located at Duke Street Kennels in the UK, of which one named Telek. Telek would become the General’s dog even though he was intended for Kay. The puppy was presented at the General’s birthday party, and the Air Force also provided a gift: A dog-sized parachute and harness. Telek lived to the ripe old age of seventeen. See more

This was a planned event and the people responsible had intimate knowledge. Please we need someone to come forward who knows whats happened. They need to think how they would be feeling if their dog or child was taken from them.
