24.01.2022 Here are some photos from our amazing 5/6 camp and all the activities our students got to experience.

24.01.2022 Dear Families, We look forward to seeing all our students back at school this coming Monday 5th October. There has been no change to our procedures with regards to parents being onsite and the measures put in place in response to Covid-19. Our school procedures will not change until we receive further information from the Department of Education. If your child is ill or is feeling unwell, they must not attend school. They must remain home and seek medical advice. To support... the health and wellbeing of all our students and staff, our school will continue an enhanced cleaning routine and will encourage frequent hand washing. While the Chief Health Officer has advised that students will not be required to maintain physical distancing at school, as in term 3 there will continue to be a number of important changes to our school operations, consistent with health advice. All students commence at 9.00am. There will be no access to the school prior to 8:30am (other than early bus travelers). All students will be met at the gate by a staff member and have their hands sanitized and temperature checked. We encourage parents to stay in their car when dropping off their children. Parents are not able to come onto the school grounds. At the end of the day: All classes will finish at 3.15pm. We encourage parents to stay in their car when picking up their children. Parents are not able to come onto the school grounds. Bus travelers will line up as normal for the school bus. Staff will be at the exit points to supervise the students leaving the school grounds. Other information: Water fountains are not in use. All children are required to bring their own drink bottle that are clearly labeled with their name. These can be refilled throughout the day from inside their learning areas. Please make sure your children come to school with their school hats. Uniforms can be purchased by phoning the front office and using the quicker app or making other arrangements with Helen. Meal Deals will not operate for the remainder of this term. No food can shared at school, therefore no birthday cakes can be brought in for children’s birthdays. Late arrivals and early pick-ups: Keeping in line with meeting Covid-19 guidelines regarding parents not being permitted on-site during school times, we are asking parents who are bringing their children to school late, to please ring to advise when their child is entering the school grounds. To support the health and wellbeing of all our students and staff, our school will continue an enhanced cleaning routine and will encourage frequent hand washing. Again I thank all our families for their cooperation and support. I hope you have all enjoyed spending time with your children in this beautiful sunshine. Warm Regards Chrissy Drummond

06.01.2022 WELLBEING CARISBROOK PRIMARY SCHOOL FAMILY FUN TRIVIA NIGHT This week in wellbeing (Friday) we are focussing on relationships and self-care. Taking some time out for some fun looks a little different these days. With that in mind, this week from Prep to Grade 6 there is an option for a Family Trivia night! This can be played as a family, or you could play online with another family as long as you are having fun with one another and keeping those connections - then the leani...ng intention has been met! We’ve popped together a number of resources to make this happen, there is a video of the Trivia with a voice over which you can play and pause on your technology to run your trivia, a PowerPoint without the voice over for you to use to play or hard copies have been sent home to families who have requested hard packs for all learning resources. So grab some snacks and settle in for a Fun Family Night in. We’d love to see some pics of your family displaying your team name. How did you score? Enjoy! Karissa.
