25.01.2022 A big thank you to all the Carissa's Hair & Beauty community for everyone's patience while I have been closed. I have taken this time to further develop my skills and review new products that will be beneficial for my valued clients. Re-opening will be a gradual process as I will need time to order products and ensure the salons are Covid safe. Please note beauty services won't be available at this point in time. 24.01.2022 Im opening on Tuesday 26th May if anyone needs a Tuesday appointment. As well as the usual Wednesday and Saturday. Let me know asap as limited appointments available.

24.01.2022 Hairdressing is closed as of midnight Wednesday 5th Aug until the 13th of September. Please let me know if you are interested in getting an appointment before then? May only work limited hours depending on demand. Keep in mind currect restrictions.

22.01.2022 To all clients of Carissa's Hair & Beauty, First of all I hope everybody is coping ok through the current situation, I hope everybody is healthy and well. As you all know everyone is concerned about the current circumstances surrounding us at the moment. Due to the spike in coronavirus ( Covid-19) I thought I would send out a communication regarding the health and wellbeing of everybody who attends the salon. If you -... Feel unwell or have any flu like symptoms Have been in contact with anyone who has been tested for Covid-19 with a positive result Have been in contact with anyone who have been tested for Covid-19 and still awaiting results Please cancel your appointment or don't make an appointment, please be respectful as we are all responsible for the health and safety of my family, all my client's and their families. 21.01.2022 Mega change! Feeling so light

21.01.2022 Hairdressing will be closed as of Wednesday night due to stage 4 restrictions. I have 1-2 appointments available for lunch time today and tomorrow afternoon. Please let me know if you want an appointment

20.01.2022 Unfortunately as restrictions have been extended I will not be able to re-open on the 15th September as expected. It is looking more like 26th of October before re-opening I will be contacting you to cancel all future appointments and I have decided to not rebook anyone until closer to the date to make sure it all goes to plan. ... I will also be selling products if anyone is interested in purchasing. Please call or msg. I know this will be hard for us all but we can get through this, just remember you're not the only one without your hair done. Please contact me if you have any questions in regards to taking hair extensions out or just general enquiries. In saying that please do not ask if i will be doing any hair at home secretly. There are massive fines that I am definitely not willing to take that risk. Thank you all for being so understanding.

13.01.2022 Hi everybody, As you are all well aware the Victorian government have proceeded to move to their stage 1 isolation restrictions. Carissa's Hair & Beauty will be operating as normal until advised otherwise, We will be taking extra precautions in regard to hygiene and social distancing where possible... As of today these measures will be in place, Salon magazines will be removed if want to read something you will need to bring it with you Washing your hands on entry before your service begins If you feel more comfortable coming with a face mask that's ok but you must provide your own Try and go to the bathroom before you attend the salon Coffee/tea will not be provided by the salon any more at this stage We will be trying to limit one client at a time or leave a larger gap between clients to provide as much social distancing as possible Due to schools being closed salon hours may vary and change, please be understanding Thankyou all for being so respectful and showing a lot of patience through this difficult time, if you have any questions feel free to contact me. 05.01.2022 As of last night hairdressing had been allocated 30 minute time slots for haircuts, THAT HAS BEEN LIFTED. It's a really confusing time for the hairdressing industry and I am trying to keep on top of everything but things are changing so quickly. The way things are progressing Im assuming that hairdressing salons will be shut down shortly, if you dont want to lose your appointment you can bring it forward to this week. ... 04.01.2022 Hello everybody, Unfortunately Saturday 28th of March will be my last day of work until further notice due to the current circumstances surrounding covid-19. As it is unknown when we will be able to re-open, Please try your hardest not to do your own hair from home and stay away from any box dyes.... If you need any products eg. Shampoo, conditioner etc. Tomorrow is your chance from 9am All appointments will be cancelled as of 29/3/20. I have had to make a decision to possibly start back up very lightly, this is to make sure I can hit the ground running and keep the business open after all the dust settles.
