25.01.2022 We now have an ONLINE BOOKING system. You can book an online appointment with Dr Stephanie Kirk (until 31st Jan 2020) or Dr Dina Kirollos (starting from 3rd February 2020) through our FACEBOOK page or our website CARITASMEDICALCENTRE.COM.AU. Appointments can also be booked through HEALTH ENGINE or simply do a GOOGLE SEARCH for a doctor/GP in your area and our practice will come up.

23.01.2022 Coronavirus advice/procedures for Caritas Medical Centre patients: DO NOT enter the practice if you have any flu like symptoms fever, sore throat, runny nose, coughing or shortness of breath. Ring 9153 5363 to discuss with the staff. DO NOT enter the practice if you have returned from overseas in the last TWO weeks or have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19. Please call HealthDirect on 1800 022 222 or our practice on 9153 5363 for further advice.... When waiting outside, please maintain social distancing of 1.5m, as per NSW Health advice. If you have flu like symptoms please stay away from other patients, especially the elderly. We will only allow FOUR people to sit inside the practice at any one time. Other patients must wait in their car/home/plaza etc. Call us periodically to know when it’s your turn on 9153 5363. A few chairs have been provided outside for patients waiting outside. Kindly maintain a distancing of 1.5m when sitting outside. Only TWO people will be allowed to enter the practice at one time. Please note we DO NOT have any hand sanitiser available at the practice for patient use. Please bring your own. Due to the scarcity of supplies, mask will only be provided to eligible patients. If you are coughing/sneezing you will NOT be allowed to enter without a mask. If you have mild cold symptoms please stay home to protect others. Please help us help the community so we can minimise the spread.

18.01.2022 Caritas Medical Centre will be CLOSED on Saturday 9th of March. Reopen on Monday 11th of March at 8:30am.

17.01.2022 Dear Patients Please be advised, Telstra has disconnected our main phone number due to the NBN. We have been talking to Telstra to resolve this as soon as possible. Practice is open as usual. Dr Chauhan and Dr Kirollos are consulting as per their scheduled hours. Sorry for the inconvenience.

16.01.2022 Meet our new Doctor - Dr Dina Kirollos Dr Kirollos graduated from the Australian National University with a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery (MChD) and completed her internship and residency at Bankstown and Campbelltown Hospitals. She is interested in the diversity of General Practice with particular interest in Women’s Health, Paediatrics and Preventative Medicine. Outside of work she enjoys food, fitness and travelling!... She can speak Arabic (mainly Egyptian dialect), in addition to English. Dr Dina sees patients by appointments and walk-ins. She consults Monday to Thursday from 8:30am to 1:00pm and 1:30pm to 5:30pm and on Fridays from 1:30pm to 5:30pm and one Saturday a month. Patients can book an appointment online through our website / facebook page or through healthengine.

15.01.2022 How amazing was Caritas Medical Centre's display from last week Donna and the team did a great job promoting National Cervical Cancer Awareness Week and received some great feedback from the ladies visiting the clinic!

08.01.2022 Government announcements of business restrictions DOES NOT affect Caritas Medical Centre - we are OPEN to serve you! Federal, state and territory governments are continuing to announce increased restrictions on some business operations to reduce the spread of COVID-19. General practices, as an essential service, are exempt from these restriction and will continue to operate. Caritas Medical Centre doctors are offering telehealth for our patients - this is a medical consult...ation with a doctor covered by Medicare on the phone for eligible patients. We can also make arrangements for scripts by faxing them to your pharmacist (have that number ready at the time of your phone consultation). Please check with our staff if you are eligible for telehealth. Some things cannot be diagnosed over the phone which is why we have adopted strict infection control measures within our practice to make it safer for our patients and staff to continue to offer face to face consultations. Many of our patients with diabetes, heart disease, asthma and many other conditions which are ongoing in nature will meet the eligibility criteria. Ring (9153 5363) and ask our staff it that applies to you and you need a phone consultation. We look forward to providing a medical service to you in these challenging times. Over the last few days we have been able to meet capacity and we post this in response to a number of fears patients have that we are closed or not seeing patients which is simply untrue. She then entered general practice and is working towards her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She is excited to join the team at Caritas Medical Centre, having previously wo...rked in Concord and Bankstown. She is passionate about providing holistic care to people of all ages and loves the diversity of general practice. She has a particular interest in women and children’s health and is accredited to provide antenatal shared care. Dr Stephanie sees walk-in patients and also does appointments.
