This is like saying, you shouldn’t eat to avoid choking. Like everything in life, everything needs to be done mindfully, whether that is exercising with low impact movements like yoga or eating slowly and consciously. 2: . Studies have shown that exercise does not increase risk of preterm labour. For some women, it may even decrease the risk. Exercise helps women maintain a healthy body and weight and hence more likely to carry to term. I hear these myths so often and I’m so glad that I have the curiosity to question them and the drive to seek education and research to verify. Afterall, I choose to have a pregnancy that is driven by insight and empowered truth, not fear. Pregnant woman can exercise up until birth. Studies have shown that exercise is not harmful to your baby. Women who are less active are more likely to experience pains and aches, and problems later in pregnancy and labour. So if you are pregnant, have the courage to move freely! Trust that your body, mind and baby will thank you for it.

08.01.2022 I AM ENOUGH. Ever feel like you're not doing enough? Not strong enough,... not beautiful enough, not smart enough? That perhaps, you're just not good enough? These beliefs come from shame. Shame is that painful and toxic feeling, that you are flawed, that you don't belong, that there is something wrong with you, that you are unworthy and undeserving of love and connection. It's time to let go of shame. To accept who you are, as you are, right now. Let go of expectations of who you think you should be. Know that you are worthy of love, that you belong, that you are here to serve a purpose. Not sure for what purpose? Then find out! We've all experienced shame, and while others get stuck in shame, others like myself have overcome this with self-love. My mantra: I do enough. I have enough. I am enough.
