21.01.2022 A tip for everyone, I have had some customers recently ask why it's more expensive when they have lost all their keys? Simple answer is that we have nothing to work with so we must either decode or even remove and disassemble your lock or obtain the information from the manufacturer or another source. Also some cars require 2 keys to be programmed in order to gain access to your immobiliser system and remove 'vehicle is immobilised' or similar messages from your Driver Inform...ation Display, so in some cases you can't just make one key for a lost all keys situation, you must do two keys. Its always cheaper to get a duplicate of your current key than to lose that and start from scratch with nothing. So the simple solution is if you only have one key try and arrange a spare key before you lose the only one you have, it will not only save you money but also inconvenience and possibly towing fees depending on where you lose them. 15.01.2022 During a front camera and radar calibration on a 2018 Toyota Camry we deliberately made the process fail by removing the targets to see what error messages came up so we knew what a failed attempt would show us. The car responded with these messages on the driver information display and the Autel ADAS software revealed the error codes which was pleasing as both the Autel ADAS tablet and the vehicle clearly indicated that there was an issue. This was done so we could be confi...dent in the fact that the vehicle and the tool showed us clearly that there was an issue. We then replaced the targets and in a matter of minutes the system was successfully calibrated and the error messages were cleared. The Autel ADAS Calibration system provides a very comprehensive pre and post calibration report which was 5 pages long and is able to be provided to customer/insurance companies to validate the calibration was completed successfully. The reports also feature photographs we took during the process, all done on the Autel ADAS tool which makes the process very easy not having to take separate photos on another device and add them. The complexity of safety systems for cars is always changing and it's important for us to take time out from our normal work to keep up to date with these changes to help keep our customers and their families safe by providing the correct diagnostic solutions.

12.01.2022 Customer lost his only key to his VZ HSV Maloo Ute, Holden and HSV gave him quotes of $1100+ to replace ECU/BCM and make a new key. Add on the cost of a Tow Truck and it's very expensive. They said no one else but us can program these HSV's, especially the LS2's. We had the car running in less than a minute after cutting the key, no modules replaced, done on site at night and all old keys kicked out of the system. Customer also saved a fortune. 10.01.2022 This week we have been helping demonstrate the capabilities of the Autel range of products, the IM508 & Im608 as well as the Autel ADAS Calibration system. First day was the key programming capabilities of the IM range of tools. Today was spent looking at the ADAS system and some hands on experience calibrating the front camera and front radar on a 2018 Camry. 02.01.2022 I've been a little quiet posting on here due to a minor injury, shoulder and bicep tendon surgery on the 30th of this month so I will be out of action for a couple of days during this period but will be back at it a couple of days later (my thinking probably not the surgeons!).
