21.01.2022 Hi guys,, Id like to think im a "reasonable man" ,and i do try and get smaller jobs in where i can in between the bigger jobs, just to try and keep everyone's cars up and running, but of late im getting a "little short" with the ones that ask me can i do a repair job , big or small, and ill either book them in for a pacific tim or month or year,, well i just had a set of 4 Cortina dress rims sent on 21st September, on a closer inspection on firstly whether i could do the job... or not ,and the $$ cost per rim ,, so i did all this, and explained that i "could get the rims apart and restore them" for him but wouldn't be able to this year but maybe after xmas..as you can see ive already had the inner cap ring off the outer stainless , just to show the customer i could get the job done for him.. So long story short , ive had numerous txt's ,to find out how they are progressing , so im refitting the only insides back up and sending them back to the customer, "UNFINISHED" ,,I like to think that i can help everone at times, but i especially dont like to be hurried along with work so i can fit their jobs in..if you cant wait for my services for refurbishing your trims or jobs please try and be a little more diplomatic , or you will have to find another way to get your trims done ..cheers from #carlmillsstainlesssteelrepairs See more

20.01.2022 Well, so after a week or so off Facebook, to regenerate the batteries.. ive still kept up the pace with a zillion jobs as usual..the main job is a 64' chev waggon..the bonnet garnish was fitted in another shop after a recent refurbishing , so with it not fitting too well ,due to all parts being aftermarket, not much lined up correctly, so in fixing this alignment problem, there was a series of things to do to get this bonnet garnish fitting again..scroll on through to the finished pics ,,cheers Carl.

05.01.2022 Repaired up a brass outer ring for a dash clock out of a Ford Capri..really soft to work with, it was pulled off the clock face, for the clock to be repaired, as the inner folded edges were unfolded and stretched..so the inner clock mechanism could be repaired..

04.01.2022 Repaired a pair of HD holden ute dog leg trims.. ...a fair bit of 50 year old gravel rash to get out... a couple of before, during and after photos ..
