25.01.2022 This colour palette + natural light was the perfect match at our Chatfield Project. The sage green cabinetry helped add a pop of colour to this kitchen, while keeping the tone of the house neutral.

25.01.2022 CHATFIELD PROJECT | We loved working on this project with the @alterecodesign team. Designed around sustainable performance, this house features LOW E double glazed timber windows, an airtight external wrap and polished concrete slab to optimise thermal mass. Find more photos of this project via the link in our bio.

25.01.2022 The timber accents definitely brought a level of warmth to this modern family home - something we’re missing with Melbourne’s weather at the moment. But it’s not only the finishes keeping this home warm. The low-e double glazed windows and insulation layer also ensure a comfortable temperature is maintained year round.

24.01.2022 When Monday blues look this good This angled doorway helps to create a simple statement of the blue isn’t already enough! @ Yarraville, Victoria

24.01.2022 That blackbutt timber though The perfect entry to the second level extension at our McConnell Project. : @nelsonalexanderrealestate

24.01.2022 Stoked to see Melbourne opening up again today. Definitely appreciated sitting down for a morning coffee at @brother_nancy today and hopefully it’s not too much longer before we can be entertaining friends and family in our homes again - especially when it looks as good as this one! But for now, be sure to get out there and support your local cafes and restaurants. They need it after a tough few months!

23.01.2022 Terrazzo. Our clients wanted to really hero the use of terrazzo in their renovation and we encouraged them to go all the way. Tiling all four walls in their main bathroom created quite the impact! More photos of our Khartoum Project up on the site now via link in bio.

20.01.2022 Making progress. We’re at the final stages of our Chatfield St project and we love seeing everything come together. Shout out to @alterecodesign for the awesome design of this one

19.01.2022 Handover week is always a bit of a stressful one, but it makes it all worth it seeing our clients walk into their completed home for the first time. We can’t wait to show you inside our finished Chatfield Street Project, with lots more photos coming soon!

19.01.2022 We’ve recently started our latest project in Sunshine and will be transforming this little blue house into a brand new home! Check out @fiverobinsonstreet to get a behind the scenes look at this epic renovation from start to finish. @ Sunshine, Victoria

17.01.2022 Tone and texture. This simple kitchen was balanced perfectly with a pop of colour and texture in the splashback tiles. This kitchen update definitely helped rejuvenate this 90’s apartment that was our Ballarat Rd Project.

17.01.2022 Excited to share some final photos of our completed Ballarat Rd project! We loved the detail choices for this one, from the cork flooring to the round fluted bench. More photos up on our website and we’ll be sharing more on here in the coming weeks. : @jjjjade

14.01.2022 Wet areas - some people love them and some don’t. We think it’s a great way to utilise the space in a bathroom. It creates a little bit of luxury with a larger open shower and it’s always a plus if it creates room for a bath! #bathroomdesign #bathroom #bathroomrenovation #terrazzo #bath #shower #melbournebuilder #innerwestmelbourne #wefo

13.01.2022 Small space, big impact. We love the end result of our Ballarat Rd project, the perfect light filled space to spend what could be the last weekend in isolation. It’s a shame the weather won’t be cooperating...

13.01.2022 Almost done! Loving the nearly finished look of the main bathroom - stay tuned for the finished shots. Barton Street project

11.01.2022 Have you read the latest blog posts from our Passive House Series? Be sure to check them out before our next one goes live tomorrow!

10.01.2022 Winter blues. We hope this colourful bathroom brightens your day more than Melbourne’s weather... We only have a very small space to work with for this room at our Ballarat Rd Project, but the @circlestudio_architects definitely made the most of it!

07.01.2022 Our Chatfield Street Project - finished just in time for some happy clients to move in over the weekend and start enjoying this amazing light-filled space, designed by @alterecodesign

06.01.2022 On the market. We gave this 100 year old Victorian a contemporary update a few years back, with a Blackbutt timber staircase and island bench top, polished concrete flooring, a brand new upper level and a home office out the back. It was a challenge working with no access in such a tight area, but the finished project definitely made the most of the space. : @nelsonalexanderrealestate @ Kensington, Victoria

06.01.2022 Last day of winter means it’s time to put those scarves away (hopefully!) We loved the introduction of an Architectural Cavity Slider in our Chatfield Project to allow the front half of the house to be separated from the back - perfect for reducing noise moving through the house. It’s equally great for zoning off sections of the house to keep those energy bills down. @ Kingsville

05.01.2022 Khartoum Project reveal. A modern update to an old Californian bungalow in West Footscray, with terrazzo the star of the show. We finally captured some footage of this project we finished a little while ago and we can’t wait to share more with you!

05.01.2022 We know you guys love a kitchen! Another shot from our Khartoum project, with terrazzo a consistent hero throughout the home to create a sophisticated monochrome design. The angled ceiling and high windows above the dining and living areas allowed as much natural light to shine through to the kitchen as possible.
