11.01.2022 I love sessions that are meaningful. Those that when you peel back the layers and delve beyond the beautiful humans in front of my lens, there is so much sentiment and heartfelt purpose. This was one of those sessions. Jess can not remember her dad. Sadly, he died when Jess was just a baby. Since then, it’s always been Jess and her mum Rosie. Rosie has raised such a beautiful daughter and the bond that these two beautiful ladies share is really quite special.... Rosie recently celebrated her 60th birthday, and no thanks to COVID, the overseas holiday Jess and Rosie had planned together to celebrate this milestone birthday didn’t eventuate. Jess gifted her lovely mum this session for her birthday, to enable the 2 of them to have some special photos captured together, just the two of them. Rosie, you should be so proud of the gorgeous daughter you have raised. She is respectful and loves you more than anything. The relationship the two of you have is so incredibly admirable and you need to give yourself a massive pat on the back. Jess is a gorgeous example of how awesome parenting can raise some pretty fabulous young adults. It was my absolute pleasure to capture these memories for you both. Jess Baumann
