25.01.2022 Some of items I sold over the last few weeks

22.01.2022 This post is more of a customer service announcement as I have seen the ad for the HK and HT Holden Protection Plan saying they are "exact" copies and same paper etc...even though for the price ($25) they are great for those not fussed on perfect original - they are nowhere near exact for those going concours. See the pictures below of my genuine NOS HT Protection Plan at the top and these replacements on the bottom. Particularly on HT, getting the gold metallic finish would... be close to impossible. There is a market for everything and obviously a HUGE price difference and at $25 it is great value, but don't expect exact (or even advertise them as that) That's my rant over...buyer always beware...

A few other emission and paint protection pamphlets available if you are needing one for your vehicle

15.01.2022 Wanted: old GMH HOLDEN FORD CHRYSLER VALIANT parts & memorabilia Always looking to buy old car radio's, brochures, owner books, brochures and memorabilia to suit GMH HOLDEN FORD CHRYSLER VALIANT but will also look at BMC LEYLAND MINI JAGUAR AIR CHIEF DIAMOND DOT etc With over 600 people who LIKE this page and even more followers I am going to try something new here. ... Finally after 6+ years of running Carlectables SA as my major form of income I have come to the point of nearly running out items to sell. The usual channels I use to keep stock flowing are either over priced or non existent of late with covid etc and I really don't want to go and get a "REAL" job I will be honest, I CAN NOT pay some of the prices people are asking on ebay, gumtree etc as there has to be some profit in it for me but believe I am fair at pricing to suit us both. I don't sell at top of the market prices so I can't buy at them either ! Preference would be local items in Adelaide between business hours as it is always nice to deal face to face but will look at anything of interest from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand (yes, I have bought and sold there). You guys see what I have bought and sold via my page here and ebay account (carlectables.sa) so have an idea of my interests and pricing - so let me know if you have anything you are looking to clear out at reasonable pricing. Matt has put a lot of work in to these to give you a solution. 12.01.2022 Fresh out of a Holden HK Premier we have this fully working Deluxe 11 Push Button radio. See the attached video as to working comdition as it picks up multiple stations with good volume (the background buzzing is mainly due to my power source being plugged in to 240v as it won't hold charge anymore). New Plessey speaker to suit being used (which will be up for sale soon too). This radio will be listed for sale in the coming days...sit back and enjoy the sweet sounds of AM radio !

11.01.2022 Today's "packing and posting" included some very clean GENUINE owner manuals. The HT one was particularly excellent condition for its age...sure the new owners will be more than happy...

11.01.2022 Isolation has me looking at things that I wouldn't normally but here is something I found on ebay - seller not only wants top dollar, states that they are original and NOS and colour is correct. Well colour is off, Lion is not indented as per original but the biggest give away is the square corners rather than rounded...just want those that follow me to be informed. https://www.ebay.com.au//91F-Holden-Dealersh/174197685657

11.01.2022 Few items that sold over the last couple weeks that surprised me with finishing price on ebay - learning everyday

07.01.2022 Here is a set of 4 pretty average Sports Wheel Covers/GTS hubcaps as can be seen in attached photos. They have drill holes as was common to keep them on before they became so expensive. Some colour has been stripped off a couple and there is some gutter rash. Check the photos and zoom in to be sure of what your buying...the photo's are the best description of what you are getting. Price us $275 for the set picked up 7km from Adelaide CBD (Western suburbs) or $300 posted anywhere in Australia.

07.01.2022 Here also on ebay I have a 15 OHM speaker to suit 1960's/1970's car radios. I have added a correct speaker cable with correct jack end and this has been tested as perfect working order. Being an item hidden under the dash, this would suit your car/resto without the expense of a ROLA type speaker... https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/153947375969

07.01.2022 What do I do when I have almost exhausted my radio collection - start selling the radio parts I have. These fascias will be hitting ebay tonight - if your after a particular fascia, radio knobs (no VF VG Valiant or HR/HK/HT/HG Radio knobs left so do not bother asking) or bits missing on your radio - covers, lenses etc send me a message as I may be able to help.

06.01.2022 Today's sale was a rare - as the LJ Torana air chief is one of the rarest radio's to find in the Holden range - service book for the 13 transistor push button radio.
